Big L was always so precise and clear, whenever I wanted to know what he said it was never because it was misunderstood it was because I couldn't believe he said something like that and then went on flowing effortlessly.
He was one of the most complete rappers to ever touch the mic IMO. His only shortcoming was content variety which can be forgiven because he died so young, so I personally wouldn't take that away from him. Everything else was A*.
I always feel the loss whenever I hear his music. The fact that he was still developing when he died really brings into perspective how much unrealised potential he harnessed.
