Superb Zac, superb, your range of playing is amazing! On par with Clifton but in your own styles for sure!👌would you mind telling me do you record straight to your phone or use an external microphone for your field recording Zac? Sound is always excellent 👌
Thanks, Vin! I usually have a little tascam field recorder that I set up. The camera I use records audio too, and sometimes it sounds better than the tascam for whatever reason. In this case I think it was the tascam audio.
I love all your work! Thank you for singing these stories !
Aw man that was amazing, what a wild story, and the sound of that banjo is a perfect compliment to the song
COOL 💀🔥💀
Very reminiscent of I roscoe holclomb to me. Loved it!
You told this sad story so honestly. Thanks again for sharing your wonderful playing
Didn’t know someone could do a better version than Clarence Ashley.
I was wrong.

@@ZacSokolow thanks for the reply Zac. Keep up the great work and have a great Christmas. All the best from City of Lincoln, England👌🎶🎄
Amazing as always. Love this song. Any good sources for tabs? Might try to learn it...
I don’t know of any tablature for it, but there are some great recordings of different versions by Buell Kazee, Roscoe Holcomb and Morgan Sexton.
