    I love this piece!, It almost has a fantasia like vibe to it, that's what i love about this piece, because it feels so improvised and elegant at the same time.

      The tempo is presto non troppo meaning fast but not too fast.

      I guess different transcriptions have different tempos. I'm pretty presto non troppo is telling you to go full speed but not out of control.

    From bars 1-6 it matches harmonically perfectly with Paganini’s 24th caprice (when it is in c minor)!

    Played in a recital 42 years ago...and I don't play much anymore but I still love this piece. Loved this pace too as I was way too "fast" with it seemingly and it made it more complex (for me at least at the time).

    Im teaching it to one of my students and we are loving it
    The main problem is to keep control and not let it disappear into a jumble of the odd wrong notes
    Slowly practice is the answer but sometimes just let it fly........ Great composition

    Trust me it is way easier than it looks I started learning this like 1 hour ago and i can play the entire thing. Not as fast as the video of course but this is just a little bit more of practicing. I have played the piano for 2 years and I recommend this to who want to improve finger speed, its easy but fun.

    I like your mistake (LOL or was it really) in meas. 4 where the C on the 2nd 16th of beat 3 is omitted. It actually gave the ear a rest; broke up the predictability and pushed the piece forward by accentuating the phrasing. Good tempo too. Don't be surprised if you hear this version duplicated in the music community.

    La difficoltà di questo brano e il suono cristallino l omogeneità tra mano destra e sinistra le note in appoggio lo stacco fra il forte e il piano e sinceramente gli arpeggie e le scalette darei un po' più di crescendo e diminuendo comunque è un ottimo studio di tecnica lo letto oggi per scrupolo non è proprio così facile ,da studiare bene a metronomo buon lavoro

    Anyone knows where the 0:08 part can be heard ?
    I have a strong familar feeling, kind of a "nostalgic" sentiment and i can't find why, but i'm pretty sure i've heard this exact part somewhere.
    I discovered this piece like a lot of people by watching Breaking Bad, but i had the same feeling when i saw Skinny Pete playing for the first time so that doesn't come from here

    In measure 30 (0.55), E natural in bass clef must be E flat while harmony is 2nd inversion of C minor?

      Of course it's e flat... There are no natural signs and it also fits the C minor diminished right before the c minor..
