I never realized that the songs were so similar. Tho as a kid, I realize Kylie’s song sounded like something else I had heard on the radio but couldn’t put my finger on it. Decades later-many decades later, I know why now. lol. Thnx for mixing the tunes together.

According to Phil Harding, one of the frequent collaborators of the SAW factory, Pete Waterman loved this Whipers song and suggested Mike Stock and Matt Aitken to come up with a similar song for Kylie. And the result was really similar, in fact. They even maintained L.A. & Babyface in the credits, a nice gesture from them
