Just got this pack as well. I’ve bought a few DLC’s since yesterday.😂😂😂😂 I should have already had these I know, but get them when I can. These are really fun. I love playing on the map Silver run Forest and the plantation.😊😊😊 the plantation is really fun start out in forestry and work your way up or however, you want to do it😊
People complaining about a farming simulator putting out more farming equipment and calling Giants lazy, hilarious. Guess what, you won’t like any DLC because it will be more farming equipment. My advice, just buy base game and pick and choose DLC’s then we don’t have to hear from you.
Or just go back to Minecraft. Spare us all the belly-aching every time a new DLC comes out...
Orrrr save your money, ignore the DLCs and wait for modded versions 😉 not sure what they are expecting from a farming game besides farm related machines and equipment. I think the animals part is lacking and could use some attention.
@@jughead83 I've said it a dozen times, I'll say it again: I want to work horses. I want to plow, log, pull wagons and buggies, etc. How hard could it be? We can already "enter" (that sounds sick) and drive them, how hard to hook them up to something?

I was thinking I’d use that bale storage with 1.9, guessing I can set the business end of that stationary baler to drop them right in that sheds pickup zone - job done 😊

Yep. That works, but you need to position the static baler so it wraps and drops the bale before the bale shed takes it.

I hope the sugar beet balesvget added to tmr. Interesting how many people are getting bent out of shape. If you dont6like a mod don't use it, don't complain about it. Someone put a lot of time and effort into it. Also it's a game. And insulting modders isvavgreat way to reduce the option in the game as is the friction between pc and console. Console players are an important market for Giants , without them future fs games aren't likely to happen.

How many bailing packs do we need? This is the second one from giants, I know bailing is a big part of farming, but still seems like theres other implements that would be of more value esp in a paid dlc
Initially that was my thoughts too, but at least this one provides a few new bits. The ability to bail sb cut, chaff and tmr being the biggest. The two big stationary baler/wrappers are unique, as is the telehandler wrapper. Yeah...I think we are going to feel a twinge of disappointment no matter what Giants releases. It really alkl has been done before, there are so many mods out there. In the end it is up to you to decide whether to spend actual money on this stuff. I bought season 2, so it is money under the bridge for me, it is insignificant. Will I use this stuff? Who knows...maybe if the narrative is right I might find a use for a piece or two. Maybe not...But I own it now anyway...
@Sean O'Brien yeah it has some neat features that are stuff we dont have, but ultimately you know someone is gonna mod "lizard" brand of all if it lol I guess for me its cause Im more of a loading wagon guy, I dont like dealing with bales, especially since they end up being shredded right back up to loose for anything you do with them other than selling...seems like an extra step to me
@@fatkidgames4381 Ah, have you checked out farmer kleins livestreams? This is the PERFECT setup for forage wagons! Silage additive in the wagon, pick up the grass, then dump it into the big stationary baler/wrapper also with silage additive and have that dump directly into the trigger for the storage building Giants just released (or that mod that came out just before giants released theirs). Personally, I am the opposite, I find it much less fuss to just square bale then wrap and load on the Lizard autoload flatbed. But hey, I try to work all angles in my gameplay at one point or another.
@Sean O'Brien no haven't watched him, but I dont play overly realistic so a windrower and the tardis loading wagon followed by dumping into the farm productions building and boom silage lol
@@fatkidgames4381 I play different styles depending on the save and my mood. Fast and loose to ultra-realistic. In the end I think my mindset is it is just a game and I just want to relax. Which is why I like the grass work. Cutting, baleing, autoload, I just find it the most relaxing. I like livestock too. But yeah, I don't judge how others play, I just do my thing.

The biggest issue I have with this is they haven’t incorporated any new uses for the bales. We still can’t feed silage straight to cattle for some reason, when we could In previous games. Cut sugar beat can’t really be usethat either, maybe feed pigs with it but not cattle.
The modelling and sounds are great, high level work from Giants, but they fail to create purpose for some of their mods. A great shame they didn’t bring back the ability to purchase net wrapping and twine with this, I know it was made by modders, but this would bring greater depth to the gameplay.
Neu Minnibrunn map will take silage only for cows, so, evidently map makers can add that.

You had the Autoload trailer to far forward, Once a bale is on the Ground Creep forward till it picks up the Bale.
The animations of the newer Equipment just keeps getting better. Did you notice the Levers moving on the Operator side of the Bailer. and how the Wrapper speed changes when starting up and coming to a stop.
When You park a loaded Trailer at the Hopper, leave the Tractor running. The baler will raise & lower the Trailer as it needs more in the Hopper.
Farmer Klein did a Multiplayer race between pull Balers and the Stationary baler . What a Riot that was.. AHAHAHA

I would like to see the same thing with just a single player on each side. I was rooting for the baler side, but who saw the bottleneck at the wrapper coming? Surprised me. I wonder if it would have been a little closer if not for Schultz though.

A couple of channels have already shown trailers auto feeding the bale wrappers and dropping straight into the trigger of the bale shed that came out last week. I just seems a lot of work in single player mode unless it's a small farm but could be good for multiplayer.
The new dog barking sound effects that added are pretty cool, very realistic 😂🐕♥
Interesting DLC this, I like the new equipment generally speaking but I do wonder about some things.
TMR bales seem a bit redundant as you'd just mix a load up in a wagon and feed it to the cows when they need it, perhaps useful for buying in cow feed I suppose. And from a manufacturing perspective it could be useful, make the bales for better storage, distribution and selling perhaps but how does that translate to the game. If wrapped TMR bales sell for more that might shake things up a bit.
Cut sugarbeet bales also confuse me a bit in terms of their purpose, I'd hoped GIANTS would have added in some extra features with the DLC to actually use them like as animal feed or supplement perhaps. If the baler actually cut up regular sugarbeet as part of its process that might help.
Overall I like the DLC, I may not get a great deal of use out of all of it but that's fine with me. It's DLC for a farming game, I fully expect it to contain vehicles and equipment used in farming and as such I wasn't disappointed. 😁

Actually, if the trailer exceeds the hopper capacity, when you leave it there, as the contents deplete it'll automatically dump more into the hopper. I think it's when there's less than needed to make the next bale. It'll keep doing that until the trailer and hopper are empty. If you have one of those unreal capacity trailers, it'll make bales for a very long time without you having to do anything with the trailer, and the only times you'll need to enter the tractor is simply to check how much is left.

Only bales made by Goweil belonging equipment is accepted in the wrapper,right?! Good to know before buying too much different equipment! 👍
I watch the Mike Less channel, he does IRL US farming, touring different farms. I have learned so much. Anyway, one way a real US dairy farm handles feed using alfalfa silage is to harvest most for silage but through the season (9 months) they will also cut fresh strips of it to mix in the TMR. A lot of farms, most actually, use corn silage, but you can do that the same way. Just a thought triggered by something Paul said. Would a real farm wrap TMR? Probably not. But ingame you could set the bales on the feed trigger to extend the maintenance time between feedings.
The stationary design of the Göweil is a bit disappointing. What I want is something like (exactly like) the KNOLL / AGRONICS MultiBaler XL that is mobile and can go out in the field and work side by side with or behind a forage harvester and produce wrapped silage bales out the back while moving. Just a lot more useful to have equipment that works on the go vs a piece of metal on fixed stabilizers that I have to keep driving over to.

Honestly though, what can they come out with where you wouldn't say the same? How many small tractors do we need? How many cultivators do we need? Funny enough, the unique things I dont use much, like pumps & hoses (I know, not Giants). So far I use the Kubotas more...much more...than anything else, and I said the same exact thing when it was released. Great, more tractors. Your money, your choice. Your opinion. Can't say it isn't a valid point.
I'm very disappointed with last 2 dlc's I haven't even played on the forestry map from last dlc

For now I'm glad I didn't get the year 2 season pas as the year one season pas, was a complete waist of money for me😅 the pack looks amazing but I'm just not in to the round bales.... Come on Giants step up your game..... I mean we already have the Ploeger brand in game you can do so much Epic stuff with that brand complete new crops and harvesters etc etc now that I would pay for.
Yup - I'm with you on the square v round bales topic - did you notice how at launch, FS22 mega-inflated the price of any and all square baling equipment compared to FS19, yet round baling equipment got cheaper. I can't help but wonder now if tie-ins like the Goweil DLC are the reason they did that - i.e. sponsor pressure?

Got it today and I am trying it out, I am running on Upper Mississipi Valley map and it dows Vario master and LT master will let me load the chaff but it won't turn it into bales. I think the map has another type of chaff than the standard game. Tried it with grass and that works without a hickup, so it seems to be the chaff and also the corn stalk that won't work :) take care /Andy
I am running Iowa plains and cannot get chaff to bale.
I was able to get chaff to work on elm creek.
1.9 broken alot of stuff

I found using the static balers with chaff some bales didn’t get wrapped, haven’t tried with anything else yet

Not my thing at all, as seems the be theme with FS dlcs, but non the less thanks for the video Mr Sealy P love seeing your in depth guides and reviews of these packs!
The one SINGLE reason I wont purchase this pack is because giants have missed a trick here why have any stationary auto baler when you have to KEEP moving them out the way once they are wrapped COUNTER productive. There is no point to using this if you want it in a field because you have to keep moving them, even if you did place a auto load trailer for the wrapped bales there is a very good chance that it will load the unwrapped to the trailer prior to it being wrapped. Come on GIANTS make it so the wrapped bales are pushed along in a row Im sure im not alone .

Mine downloaded a 10mb file and when I went to install it apparently it showed up under updates on my Xbox

Mine showed up under updates. Plus I pre-ordered mine and it came with a 10mb file so I don't know what it was maybe it was a download that unlocked it

oof I had trouble downloading this dlc to my ps5, I was getting an error from the store after trying to download. I did get it downloaded by using ps app on my phone and downloaded it to my ps5. But I also did deleted the full game and was unable to download the game and the new dlc and it error out. So if anyone is having trouble downloading the new dlc try from your phone.

Is the bale counter included with the dlc. Or is it from the Vermeer dlc. I know base games bailers show the counter if the Vermeer dlc is also installed
Good question as I also didn't get that dlc from year one pass.
Vermeer dlc but it will work on any bailers including cotton harvesters base game and modded ones
@@MultiTurbospeed ok cool. New the Vermeer did that across all bailers. Just wasn’t sure if it was cause of that dlc or this dlc had it also.
What does the silage additive do ?
It increases the yield by 5%
Supposedly, in theory, you can get a double whammy with additive in a forage wagon and additive in the big stationary baler/wrapper. That is the first thing I want to try.

Was not impressed with it in 19 and am not happy with Giants trying to squeeze more money from us with yet another lack lustre DLC.
I would boycott them!
This dlc is not single player friendly. Now if you had 5-6 people at once it would be good so I'm thinking this dlc should be classified as online multiplayer only
