I did this same time-lapse video drive (almost) last year, but in the opposite direction. I started in New Jersey, looking at NYC, and drove all the way down to Key West, FL. I love driving on long road trips. Like a bit of meditation in a way. I haven't gone to South of the Boarder in SC yet. Seems its always late at night when I'm in that part of the country. Nice video!

As a French man, the part on the NJ turnpike approaching NYC is astonishing at 2:04:34! We don't have thing like that in France, even near Paris. All those lanes full of traffic through industrial districts with the Manhattan's Skyline beyond, is a really nice contrast.

This will be my NOT SO SUBTLE hint that she needs to bring the kids to see me on Long Island! Even though she only lived a couple hundred miles away upstate, she never actually made it down to the island.🏝️ I started sending her your videos B4 you moved so the kids could see different parts of NYC not just the main touristy area stuff they show. I'm hoping they can come here either this Summer/Fall or next one. She's still trying to get herself settled in, she only JUST moved there like 9 months ago. I'M like Heeeyyy coooommeee baaaackkk!!! one thing about america that i like so much is the highway system. the road is so clean, flat and long. my country probably has the worst roads to be ever driven
What's the fastest anyone managed to do this drive (and not get ticketed)? A friend of mine did it in 20 hours. I've have not tried from Miami, but drove from Jax, Fl to NYC in 16 hours, think if I pushed my luck more, maybe could do in 15 hours. BTW, you passed my exit at 34:09. Cheers, AK.
