Lol at the times of ottoman empire armenian people were called "millet-i sadıka" and turks lived in peace with them. Then ww1 happened and turks proceed to send the armenian people to safe areas, but some armenian people which provoked by russia and other nations attacked the turks and they needed to defend themself, so a fight has started and many armenian and turk died there, after a while they said it was "genocide" which is wrong.

This coalition is easily able to overrun the Ottoman positions and defend against their counteroffensive. The Ottomans are forced out of the Balkans by May 1913 and the Treaty of London is signed. A new country, Albania is the brought to the Balkans. -0:30 (28th June 1914): Archduke Franz Ferdinand, heir to the throne of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, travels to the city of Sarajevo to inspect troops there. The political separatist movement known as the Black Hand positioned nine assassins along the streets of the city, ready to kill Ferdinand. Two were too afraid but a third called Nedeljko Čabrinović [1895 - 1916] launched a bomb at the car he travelled in, but it bounced off the back of the convertible's roof and rolled onto the road where it blew up a car full of army officer's behind them. Arriving at the city hall, Ferdinand hid out for a few hours before remerging with only one guard hanging onto the side of his car. Ferdinand forgot to inform his driver that they were going to make a detour to visit the injured in hospital, so his driver took a wrong turn and separated from the motorcade. Austria-Hungary therefore used this as a reason to declare war on Serbia. 0:39 (31st July 1914): While they had mobilised their troops on the 26th, the Russian Empire officially entered into the war on the 31st July when it formally declined Germany's demand to demobilise its troops. -0:41 (1st August 1914): After their ultimatum is left without a response, the German Empire declared war on Russia on the pretext of defending Austria-Hungary who they had signed the Triple Alliance with a few years earlier. -0:43 (3rd August 1914): As they were part of the Triple Entente alliance with Russia, the Third French Republic declared war on Germany and Austria-Hungary. -0:48 (4th August 1914): German needed to get around the French border defences, so troops crossed the border into the Kingdom of Belgium. While the Belgian army was no match for the Germans, they were able to act as an irritating buffer against them until larger armies could flood into the country. A flank was discovered in the German lines and troops snuck into it and cut them off, forcing a massive retreat back up north. The line eventually stabilised and both sides began to dig trenches [Which contrary to popular belief, were not a new invention in World War One] which caused a stalemate to form. -1:08 (23rd August 1914 - 11th September 1914): Austro-Hungarian troops rushed to engage the Russians to buy Germany time in France. At the Battle of Krasnik, Austro-Hungarian troops were victorious and pushed back the Russian Fourth Army then moved past the Russian border. They attempted to launch another attack at the Battle of Galicia, but were repulsed by the Russians and were forced to enter a full retreat. German troops had to invade the areas around Warsaw to stop this Russian advance. -1:12 (3rd September 1914 - 5th September 1914): Britain decided it needed to take the colony of German East Africa (Modern day Tanzania), so they took a force of 9000 British Raj and British troops to the coastal city of Tanga. Despite the fact they were only going against 250 soldiers, swarms of disturbed angry bees attacked the British and gave the Germans time to bring 750 reinforcements in and remove them. -1:20 (31st October 1914): On the 26th October, the Ottoman Navy launched the Black Sea Raid where the destroyers Gairet and Muavenet entered Odessa Harbour and shelled the Russian ships docked there. Extreme damage was down to the fleet and on the 31st the Ottomans officially announced loyalty to the Central Powers. A day later Russia declared war. -1:32 (22nd December 1914 - 17th January 1915): Ottoman troops launched an attack through the Caucuses and engaged the Russians at the Battle of Sarikamish. As the winter set in, the poorly dressed Ottoman troops began to freeze in the mountains and stalled as they had trouble passing through the harsh terrain. By January 1915 they were completely destroyed and forced to retreat back across the border. -1:42 (26th January 1915 - 4th February 1915): The Ottomans launched the Raid on the Suez Canal against the British controlled Sultanate of Egypt. Ottoman troops were unable to cross the canal and got pushed back quickly. -1:47 (19th February 1915 - 9th January 1916): Britain and France realised that if they took the Dardanelle Straits they could deliver aid to Russia which was on the brink of an enormous retreat by that point. Australian, ANZAC, French, British and Indian troops landed along the shoreline. While the initial assault was successful and the allies advanced, they eventually stalled and more trench warfare began. -2:02 (24th April 1915 - October 1916): Blaming them for the Ottoman military failures, the Armenian Genocide begun and thousands of Armenian people were marched across the Syrian desert with very little food or water. By the end of this over 1,000,000 Armenians had died. -2:37 (22nd April 1915 - 25th May 1915): German Chemist Fritz Haber [1868 - 1934] began work on a chemical weapons programme at the start of the war and by 1915 he had developed Chlorine Gas. Commander in Chief Erich von Falkenhayn [1861 - 1922] cleared the weapon for use and on the first day of the Second Battle of Ypres on the 22nd April it was deployed against French troops. The French assumed it was just a smoke shield so they charged it and suffered upwards of 1,400 casualties. -2:47 (5th October 1915): The Entente wanted to open a new front to aid the failing Serbia so they attempted to negotiate with Greek King Constantine I [1868 - 1923] to land troops at Salonika in North-eastern Greece. Despite the fact that Serbia and Greece had signed alliance in the past, Constantine thought that a Central Powers victory could favour Greek interests. On the contrary, Prime-Minister Eleftherios Venizelos [1864 - 1936] thought that an Entente victory [Specifically a British one] could help Greece gain influence in the Near East. This issue basically tore Greece apart and it was named the "National Schism". Despite Greece not entering the war, British and French troops still landed at Salonika with partial government permission. Later in September 1916 a coup d'état would occur that formed the Provisional Government of National Defence which favoured the allies. -3:20 (13th July 1915 - 19th September 1915): Russia was unable to hold its frontline and so was forced to begin the Great Retreat in July 1915. After the Balkan War, Bulgaria was displeased with its war profit of not having Macedonia (similar to Italy displeased in WW1). Bulgaria actually intended to attack Greece and Serbia BEFORE WW1 but failed so it allied with a bigger and stronger Austria-Hungary in hopes to get the Macedonia.

-0:11 (October 1912 - May 1913): The Tsardom of Bulgaria, the Kingdom of Greece, the Kingdom of Serbia and the Kingdom of Montenegro all declare war on the Ottoman Empire to finally push its influence out of the Balkans. This coalition is easily able to overrun the Ottoman positions and defend against their counteroffensive. The Ottomans are forced out of the Balkans by May 1913 and the Treaty of London is signed. A new country, Albania is the brought to the Balkans.
-0:30 (28th June 1914): Archduke Franz Ferdinand, heir to the throne of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, travels to the city of Sarajevo to inspect troops there. The political separatist movement known as the Black Hand positioned nine assassins along the streets of the city, ready to kill Ferdinand. Two were too afraid but a third called Nedeljko Čabrinović [1895 - 1916] launched a bomb at the car he travelled in, but it bounced off the back of the convertible's roof and rolled onto the road where it blew up a car full of army officer's behind them. Arriving at the city hall, Ferdinand hid out for a few hours before remerging with only one guard hanging onto the side of his car. Ferdinand forgot to inform his driver that they were going to make a detour to visit the injured in hospital, so his driver took a wrong turn and separated from the motorcade. The car came to a stop as an officer explained the mistake to the driver and in that time the 19 year old Serb nationalist Gavrilo Princip [1984 - 1918] shot and killed both the Archduke and his wife Sophie.
-0:37 (28th July 1914): After Ferdinand's assassination, the Austro-Hungarian government sent a long list of demands to Serbia who they thought were responsible. Surprisingly, Serbia agreed to all of these demands except the one about letting police enter the country to conduct a search. Austria-Hungary therefore used this as a reason to declare war on Serbia.
0:39 (31st July 1914): While they had mobilised their troops on the 26th, the Russian Empire officially entered into the war on the 31st July when it formally declined Germany's demand to demobilise its troops.
-0:41 (1st August 1914): After their ultimatum is left without a response, the German Empire declared war on Russia on the pretext of defending Austria-Hungary who they had signed the Triple Alliance with a few years earlier.
-0:43 (3rd August 1914): As they were part of the Triple Entente alliance with Russia, the Third French Republic declared war on Germany and Austria-Hungary.
-0:48 (4th August 1914): German needed to get around the French border defences, so troops crossed the border into the Kingdom of Belgium. While the Belgian army was no match for the Germans, they were able to act as an irritating buffer against them until larger armies could flood into the country. On the 20th August, the capital of Brussels fell but by that point King Albert I had already fled to the city of Ypres, which he ordered to be defended until the last man. Germany's brutal treatment of Belgians would later be named "The Rape of Belgium" and was used as motivation by many nations to join the military. It also killed a lot of international support that had originally festered in German immigrant communities in places like the United States of America.
-0:57 (5th September 1914 - 12th September 1914): Despite Belgium being a good buffer, the Germans were still able to move down into northern France and were able to sweep across the countryside. By the 5th September, the French government had fled Paris as they were only 20 miles from the city. British troops had just arrived in full force by that time though and they were able to engage the Germans. A flank was discovered in the German lines and troops snuck into it and cut them off, forcing a massive retreat back up north. The line eventually stabilised and both sides began to dig trenches [Which contrary to popular belief, were not a new invention in World War One] which caused a stalemate to form.
-1:08 (23rd August 1914 - 11th September 1914): Austro-Hungarian troops rushed to engage the Russians to buy Germany time in France. At the Battle of Krasnik, Austro-Hungarian troops were victorious and pushed back the Russian Fourth Army then moved past the Russian border. They attempted to launch another attack at the Battle of Galicia, but were repulsed by the Russians and were forced to enter a full retreat. German troops had to invade the areas around Warsaw to stop this Russian advance.
-1:12 (3rd September 1914 - 5th September 1914): Britain decided it needed to take the colony of German East Africa (Modern day Tanzania), so they took a force of 9000 British Raj and British troops to the coastal city of Tanga. Despite the fact they were only going against 250 soldiers, swarms of disturbed angry bees attacked the British and gave the Germans time to bring 750 reinforcements in and remove them.
-1:20 (31st October 1914): On the 26th October, the Ottoman Navy launched the Black Sea Raid where the destroyers Gairet and Muavenet entered Odessa Harbour and shelled the Russian ships docked there. Extreme damage was down to the fleet and on the 31st the Ottomans officially announced loyalty to the Central Powers. A day later Russia declared war.
-1:32 (22nd December 1914 - 17th January 1915): Ottoman troops launched an attack through the Caucuses and engaged the Russians at the Battle of Sarikamish. As the winter set in, the poorly dressed Ottoman troops began to freeze in the mountains and stalled as they had trouble passing through the harsh terrain. By January 1915 they were completely destroyed and forced to retreat back across the border.
-1:42 (26th January 1915 - 4th February 1915): The Ottomans launched the Raid on the Suez Canal against the British controlled Sultanate of Egypt. Ottoman troops were unable to cross the canal and got pushed back quickly.
-1:47 (19th February 1915 - 9th January 1916): Britain and France realised that if they took the Dardanelle Straits they could deliver aid to Russia which was on the brink of an enormous retreat by that point. Australian, ANZAC, French, British and Indian troops landed along the shoreline. While the initial assault was successful and the allies advanced, they eventually stalled and more trench warfare began.
-2:02 (24th April 1915 - October 1916): Blaming them for the Ottoman military failures, the Armenian Genocide begun and thousands of Armenian people were marched across the Syrian desert with very little food or water. By the end of this over 1,000,000 Armenians had died.
-2:37 (22nd April 1915 - 25th May 1915): German Chemist Fritz Haber [1868 - 1934] began work on a chemical weapons programme at the start of the war and by 1915 he had developed Chlorine Gas. Commander in Chief Erich von Falkenhayn [1861 - 1922] cleared the weapon for use and on the first day of the Second Battle of Ypres on the 22nd April it was deployed against French troops. The French assumed it was just a smoke shield so they charged it and suffered upwards of 1,400 casualties.
-2:47 (5th October 1915): The Entente wanted to open a new front to aid the failing Serbia so they attempted to negotiate with Greek King Constantine I [1868 - 1923] to land troops at Salonika in North-eastern Greece. Despite the fact that Serbia and Greece had signed alliance in the past, Constantine thought that a Central Powers victory could favour Greek interests. On the contrary, Prime-Minister Eleftherios Venizelos [1864 - 1936] thought that an Entente victory [Specifically a British one] could help Greece gain influence in the Near East. This issue basically tore Greece apart and it was named the "National Schism". Despite Greece not entering the war, British and French troops still landed at Salonika with partial government permission. Later in September 1916 a coup d'état would occur that formed the Provisional Government of National Defence which favoured the allies.
-3:20 (13th July 1915 - 19th September 1915): Russia was unable to hold its frontline and so was forced to begin the Great Retreat in July 1915. Russian troops gave up Poland, Galicia, Lithuania, Courland and Semigallia before finally restabilising and forming trench lines again.

@@GarbageTrucksofVenturaCountyCA Because of Macedonia, Greece, Serbia and Bulgaria all wanted a piece of Macedonia (as they have a lot of history with the region). After the Balkan War, Bulgaria was displeased with its war profit of not having Macedonia (similar to Italy displeased in WW1). Bulgaria actually intended to attack Greece and Serbia BEFORE WW1 but failed so it allied with a bigger and stronger Austria-Hungary in hopes to get the Macedonia.
