I have seen three live programmes of RAFI SAHAB from 1961 to 1980 before every the then Great Indian singers , there In every FULL HOUSE SHOW RAFI SAHEB Was last Attraction and Was HERO all time making AUDIANCES MAD Everytime. I also paid a visit his BIRTH PLACE KOTLA SULTAN SINGH AMRITSAR in the year 2022, The place I Consider as a HOLY PLACE.

Absolutely. We are blessed to be in the era to have been enlightened and gifted by Rafi Sahab. He did a lot of charity work for orphanages and never took money from music directors who were struggling. God bless his golden heart. Rafi Sahab is in heaven.
Heard an interesting story about his funeral by a taxi driver. He was the driver who drove the tempo carrying his last remains and said that he was the only singer at that that commanded respect from everyone in the industry and every major actor, producer and music director were in the Qabristan the day of his passing that was the impact of this great personality!

Rafi Sahab has an extensive repertoire, leaving ample options for duets sung by both genders. I would have preferred to hear 'Badan Pe Sitare' performed by a male singer to truly capture the essence of Rafi Sahab's voice and singing.

Rafi Sahab was a superhuman. I have listened to his music for over fifty years, and it is never enough. The more I listen, the more I want. To me, Rafi Sahab's music is an addiction impossible to get out of and has only a way in but no way out. I love the one and only Mohammad Rafi the greatest among the greatest. I believe Mohammad Rafi was a gift of God to India.
Absolutely. We are blessed to be in the era to have been enlightened and gifted by Rafi Sahab. He did a lot of charity work for orphanages and never took money from music directors who were struggling. God bless his golden heart. Rafi Sahab is in heaven.
Heard an interesting story about his funeral by a taxi driver. He was the driver who drove the tempo carrying his last remains and said that he was the only singer at that that commanded respect from everyone in the industry and every major actor, producer and music director were in the Qabristan the day of his passing that was the impact of this great personality!

He forgot to mention, when a singer , Saigal's concert was about to start and the lights went out, Some one suggested that a young man is in the audience can fill the time, it was Rafi Sahab and the crowd was appalled when they heard him sing, that was the first step to fame !!!!

Rafi Sahab has an extensive repertoire, leaving ample options for duets sung by both genders. I would have preferred to hear 'Badan Pe Sitare' performed by a male singer to truly capture the essence of Rafi Sahab's voice and singing.
