Look up the intro for Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. They were in the EXACT SAME place and THE EXACT SAME rainbow looking portal AND 1:50 is the exact same situation the bros were in. How are they so surprised if this happened to them 3 times now?

I love that opening scene of them traveling to a new world is a huge nod to the Mario Move, kudos to the devs🤭.
