Society needs to stop idolizing celebrities.
0:56 He was a part of my childhood
I believe quoting Lincoln. “ nearly all men can stand adversity. But if you want to test a man’s character, give him power.”
I love it when people call Hollywood celebrities, “complex”. No. They’re just jerks.
There is a big difference between FLAWED and EVIL !
Remember, Rooney was a child growing up in Hollywood. Now think about what happened to the children in Disney and Nickelodeon.
I said Hello to Alice Cooper at OHare Field and he spent 20 minutes shooting the breeze with me. Nicest guy!
He is a down to earth kind of guy.
A lesson to learn: stop idolizing people
We talked about everything under the sun as I was the only person there for the whole hour. Gracious, interesting, well read, amusing and willing to talk about music, Monterey, Woodstock and just about anything.
Years ago, I worked in downtown Seattle. One summer, Grace Slick had an art show at a downtown hotel. I went on my lunch hour. I walked into the large display room and saw a woman sitting in a rattan high backed chair reading a magazine. She looked up as I said, “You would be Grace Slick.” She looked at me and said, “Guilty.” And smiled.
Actors, like politicians, are typically narcissists. Narcissists arent pleasant people to be around or to be involved with.
Ellen DeGeneres needs to be on the top of this list
At 4:00 it is not Frank Sinatra but Gene Kelly "Singing in the Rain" Love that scene 😄
My late grandfather was at Boys Town when they shot the film by the same name. He said Mickey Rooney was an entitled asshole to him, calling my grandfather “boy” and demanding that he bring him coffee. He wanted to kick Rooney’s ass. However, he said that if Spencer Tracy had asked for a coffee, my grandfather would have done “cartwheels” for him.
Michael Douglas In his book said hed never bring a GF home because how horrible his dad was
Kirk Douglas was the worst of them all , he was despicable man
Liam Neeson is a very nice person. He worked in my hometown on a film with Patrick Swazey. Liam came about three months early and made friends with everyone he met. Patrick came to town last minute, refused autographs to children, acted like a real jerk.
In her book "Child Star," Shirley Temple said that Kirk Douglas was the most obscene man she had ever met in her life.
Met 2 legends. Peter Falk & Clint Eastwood were both my heroes as a child and neither of them disappointed me as they were both generous with their time and really down-to-earth
One. 1😊
Gregory Peck was lovely and polite and charming in person and Mickey Rooney was rude and crass.
Natalie Woods mother drove her to the hotel for an "audition " There arent any auditions in a hotel room. Her mother told her not to say anything. Her sister confirmed this. What mother would do this!
I didn't know that Sinatra and Kelly were the same guy.. this video is full of B.S.
There are not the same person
