At a regular store - 6. At a thrift store - 22.
Last year I bought out a collection of about 4000 records.
I've purchased about 9 or more vinyl records in a day.🎤🎸🎵🥁
6. For now. Lol.! Awesome video guys.! 🤙🏼👍🏼❤️
I once bought 72 records in a day (mostly classical music) and the grand total was $6 since that particular thrift store offered 12 records for a dollar (and classical music boxed sets for only $2.50). That was a great day. Haha! :)
So fun!!! Digging through a whole collection is exhilarating...
I got a 78rpm picture disc a few weeks ago.
My mom would have loved that ‘The Green Door’ record. It was her favorite.
That Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg LP has the really racy song "Je T'aime,...Moi Non Plus" on it. :-) Probably not one you'll want to spin in the store. Still, a pretty interesting record if you're into Gainsbourg's Franco-Pop stuff.
I used to spend a lot of time searching through 78's looking for blues, rockabilly, Elvis... Never found anything but big band and crooners. I must be in the wrong area for the cool stuff.
You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and there you have? Records for life, records fir life...
Znowhite at 19:36. Talk about a thrash metal rarity! Nice haul overall, really impressed on most of those 60'-70's rock gems.
Great picks up in all kinds of music!🇨🇦👍👍🎃
Mega Collection: Very cool.
You Take the Good,
You Take the bad,
You Take 'em Both and there you have...
A Ton Of Stuff. YEAH! - 8-Tracks included? Wow it's like 1978 all over again.
Wow there was lots of good stuff there, even some weird stuff but most of it was good. Even though some have condition issues that's what you get with buybacks like this. SpinMeRound scored on this one. Elvis was EVERYWHERE. (Bonus for those who know that reference)
Wish I lived closer so I could at least look through some of that coal and Gold. Buy a box of Dollar vinyl.
Bummer about The Stones Flowers. Jackets like that could be saved, but what do you do with em?
Cameo by Katie spinin' Those CD buybacks. Disc-Go Baby!
Thank you for your Huge Record Collection - Over 2,000 Vinyl Records - Mixed Genres video.🎤🎸🎵🥁
Alot of great finds. Great video. Make it up to your store one day.
My cousin had a 78 of "Green Door" a 1956 hit by NY deejay Jim Lowe. One time we were visiting and asked him to play it. He took it out of the cabinet and it had broken in half. Giselle MacKenzie was very popular on 1950s TV, singer on "Your Hit Parade" TV series , also played violin with Jack Benny on his show once.
wow what a collection!
You guys have beautiful hands. (Im serious, your cuticles are gorgeous)
Santa will a cowboy hat makes alot of sense now. Lol toodadoodoo!
Pus - baby, keep the stones. Its 80% of it is still playable and therefore someone will probably pay for it. Just let them know to skip that song or two! Bam.
very cool record case
The Human League - Dare ! Still a classic " But This Is Phil Talking ! I want to tell you what I found to be true " 🎶 🎹
SUPER COOL GIGANTIC MIXED COLLECTION, LOVED YOUR IMPROVISED HUGE BIN OF AWESOME NOT YET PRICED VINYL RECORDS!!! LOTS OF GREAT STUFF AS MAMA CASS, TONY CAREY, EVELYN CHAMPAGNE KING AND THAT FANTASTIC RSO CHART BUSTERS COMPILATION!!! MY PICK IS "SPEEDING TIME" BY THE WONDREFUL CAROLE KING, MY FAVE TRACK IS 'READY FOR LOVE'!!! THE TABOO ZOO RECORD WOULD BE INTERESTING FOR AN ALBUM REVIEW!!! THE CAMERAMAN WAS NOT READY FOR YOUR FABULOUS RENDITION OF 'STAYING ALIVE'!!! YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY FRAME THAT VAN HALEN VINTAGE CONCERT AD AND FIND A SPECIAL PLACE FOR IT IN THE NEW STORE!!! THE SURPRISE APPEARANCE FROM THE LIZARD IN THIS VIDEO WAS REALLY SWEET!!!
Awesome that somehow a copy of Beck's "One Foot In The Grave" is in there (18:17)... you can go ahead and just send it my way.
I have to say that was an oddball record to be in this collection but I did get a bunch of punk 45s that we haven't showed yet.
13:21 FUN FACT: Actor Maurice Evans famously played the role of Dr. Zaius in the original 'Planet of the Apes' (1968) and 'Beneath the Planet of the Apes' (1970). :)
A great stash of vinyl. Btw. Bald is beautiful. Hey keep the video coming. I think you need to have a store in western PA. :). Peace love and rock and roll ✌️
Ahhh ELVIS!
5:26 My Box Pick Jefferson Airplane - Surrealistic Pillow ! The Marty tracks " Today " & " Coming Back To Me " my favorites.
Love it like a treasure just found very beautiful records and 78 and the 8 track tapes so sorry I live so far I will have buy some.
Here is a good one for you hauling an old mans 78 records and being careful not to break them and tons. I guess if you want a good work out it is good.
nice job steph...from the box out back...simon and garfunkel 'the sound of silence'...from the box inside...rush 'all the world's a stage'....are you gonna let rhianna keep those two copies of 'blue hawaii'....keep the peace...rpcky
That Jo Ann Campbell is worth a bit of money. I paid around $40. for mine.
2:48 cool! 🤩🌟
I just heard " On The Silent Wings Of Freedom " today on the 📻. Nice bass from Chris & Jon with a great vocal.
@@davidellis5141 So so good! They're absolutely golden. ☺️
ONSLAUGHT !!!! U.K. THRASH, great !
The Elvis Xmas may be original press which = $$$$!
I think my dad has that Wor album.
I see 2 Blue Hawaii's!!!!!
Aliens!
Saved the best for last Megadeth, Black n Blue, Loudness and Grim Reaper. Those, I would like in my collection!
Do you save the nice record jackets in case you get a good record and a roached jacket?
1:01 Cool Looking 45 Carrier
In watching your comments regarding purchasing record collections and your comments about 8 Tracks, I was just wondering if you ever pick up/purchase open reel music (reel to reel)? I've been adding more and more to my collection but they can be rather difficult to find outside of ebay.
As great as these are they are a pain to go through way too much work. It is like hauling cinder blocks just to find your favorites. I have had these mega box deals even with help it was a lot of work,
So what was the white cover? Was it the white album?
Onslaughts UK thrash let y'all know it's not death metal very classic 👊👌
I can’t believe that was just mixed in with everything else
There was a lot more metal then we got to show in this video. We pulled most of it before hand.
6:15 I wonder if you could sell the empty record jackets for a dollar each or some reasonable price (or save them if they're in great shape to replace damaged album covers that have clean records inside) or even have a FREE bin somewhere in the store for customers to help themselves to some empty covers or records in okay shape, but not having covers?
Another option would be to offer access to the FREE bin with a minimum purchase of $25 or $50 or whatever works best.
Obviously, health-wise there's no point in keeping any moldy albums. Those would likely have to be chucked for sure.
☺
Damn, I need that Peace Sells, too!
Tim Curry does NOT do the time warp. His character enters after the time warp.
Do your lizards have a name ? I have great names if they don't, how about Buddy & Holl E. As they eat crickets...
What was that yeah box if its beatles bet my dad buy it
Are you going to put those 8-Tracks up for sale?
You guys shouldnt even throw away those empty sleeves or damaged records.
Make an "art bin" and market it to craft people.
8ve seen some really cool coffee tables and end tables with record album art covered over in polyurethane.
And lots of ways to use beat up wax for art too.
Jussayin
Well hold on to the rolling stones album just in case you come across another copy that has a torn up jacket
Wanna send me the “not gunna make it” stuff? I have a secondary turntable in my office for play thrashed and warped stuff 🤪
But, you can play the rest of Flowers? Too bad, I don't live by you guys. I would definitely take it off your hands as lagniappe (free) while purchasing something else.I dug the METAL from the 80s.
That Rolling Stones is a Needle Buster. I wouldn't give it a an enemy...
@@SpinMeRoundStore good business decision. I have Willie Nelson album with a chip in one song no easly seen at first that the seller didn't say anything about. I wouldn't even donate it to a thrift store.
So wrong with that staying alive song. It doesn't even appear in that vinyl. That is Saturday night fever dude!
We maybe wrong but we had fun... 😁
@@SpinMeRoundStore I know right! I love your videos and your store, unfortunately I live in Italy and cannot order from your website!. I'm all day long waiting for a new video of yours and when I see one I'm happy as a kid in a candy store. I wish I had a store like yours close by here in Italy. By the way, the hole crew, Santa included is great. Continue making us smile. Hugs from Italy!

I always think records not in some kind of order like in rough genres look a bit of a mess and like too eclectic tastes. This collection must've come from a DJ, charity thrift digger or a hoarder. Very varied conditions too.
Yup buying collections has highs and lows, and a lot of disappointment.
