Swiss001: why cant this plane takeoff? The 737: signals for no flaps config att full power The 737 outside view: no flaps The 737 cockpit view: no flaps I wonder why it wont takeoff😂
Yeah I think the 737 was a plane built for short runways and rural, undeveloped airports. That's why there's the built-in stairs, the sort-of STOL capability, and just the fuselage close to the ground. Obviously, the nextgen planes stop slower than the A32-series, and it doesn't really have stairs and only operates as a regular commercial jet now.
The reason modern planes don’t have these features is because they land at well-developed, fully modern airports. This little guy was designed for distant rural places, with either no airport or a bad airport. The stairs are so that it can be boarded without a boarding bridge thing.
I personally don't like older jets, except maybe, the DC-8, 707, and the 727, but I love older propliners such as the DC-7, don't care that I broke the chain
A fun fact, in Brazil, this plane is called "Bréguinha", in english it could be like "little old fashioned" haha, the nickname is because of an old soap opera.
Hey, swiss! I know you have been flying a lot to Norway, but I have a tip for a cool airport. Oppdal airport in Norway! (900 meters) It has big mountains on one side, and flat terrain on the other side. A Rich guy extended the runway so he could land his private 737. Love your videos👍👏

The 737-200 is a plane that perhaps the FAA says that isn't too safe but it's Swiss001 approved so it's fine
I don’t think the faa ever said that
The 737 Max wasn’t safe but they fixed it

Yes, back then buying tickets for planes were very expensive, and most airports were under developed.

1:46: Airstairs actually come stock on the 737. There is an option to remove it but you need a ballast to account for that lost weight.
