In today's 2 minute garden tip, I show you how to use frost blankets, frost cloth and row covers properly to protect fruit trees and other sensitive vegetation from cold. These covers are often used incorrectly, and they will not offer cold protection when used improperly!
Late frost is a common problem, and proper frost protection and freeze protection is critical to protect trees and new blooms from cold damage. Whether you use a frost blanket, plant jackets, row covers, sheets or blankets for protecting trees and sensitive plants, if you don't follow the proper steps outlined in this video, they will fail to provide protection for anything more than a light frost.
