Hey everybody! Upload time took 5 hours today, I was hoping to get it out earlier! I hope you enjoyed the video though and we can not thank you enough for your support!
Izzi is ADORABLE! I totally see why you fell for her! Those Grand Canyon shots are some best you've ever taken, Jake. You've come so far and I can't wait for the future!
You NEVER let down. Some of the most incredible shots to date. So glad you finally got a trailer. Life will be somewhat easier now not counting your partner in crime.lol! I hope Izzy makes you happy. You deserve someone like her. Patiently waiting for the next chapter. Thank you for sharing. Take care.
I have a feeling you're channels going to explode after this video. The four of you, the drone footage, and you're adventures! What more could an audience want!!!!
Hi everyone from Wales, UK. I am recovering from a replacement knee operation and enjoying your adventures, keeping my free spirit alive until I can have adventures in my demountable 4 x 4 camper 😎 your trailer looks really cool! happy days xxxx
I have a 98 tj with a second hand Garvin wilderness ext tire carrier. I made a gas can carrier out of a roadside futon. The can mounts came from my father who had them on an overhead camper before I was born. I also run a 1945 M100. Its about the same Size and shape as yours. These things are so awesome if you own a jeep. I use mine as a pickup.
My aunt used to teach on a reservation in that same area and was so cool to visit her there. The grand canyon experience is so much better there then going to the touristy spots. My aunt had 2 old lift Subarus and we had so much fun bombing around the desert in them. So cool to see you going to a bunch of places I went to as a child and still visit frequently. Cant wait to see your videos from lake pleasant and Crown King. You should try to research and find the race track that was built decades ago and was abandoned. They used it in a movie years ago and blew all the windows out of it. Me and my cousin took his truck out there 4 years ago and it was super cool. I'll try and find out the highway its off of. Its a awesome place to take pics and there's a old abandoned jeep camp somewhere out there too that's really cool too.
Hey Jake, You’re are supposed to cross the chains on the trailer when hooking up to your Jeep, this way the chains catch the trailer of the ball becomes dislodged. Helpful tip. Stay up
Best spot I've ever seen to view the canyon! Have to say my stomach was in knots watching Annie walk along the edge! Each video tops the previous one! You have a great life! Choose wisely my friend...
Awesome moment when you took the extra time to pick up that glass in the campsite. Leave no trace and leave it better than you found it, best mottos to camp by.
Definitely should look into a Landcruiser troopy! Loads of room. Or even a 5 door Jeep Wrangler, that way you wouldn't have to move the front seats to fit bedding and what not. :)
Jake, that is one cool trailer. I wish I had one. I know that it will make things easier since your traveling group has grown in size. In no time you will get everything sorted out to fit your growing needs for storage. A roof top tent would be nice for the next addition.... Travel safe and enjoy.. By the way, your Grand Canyon shots were great. We were there a couple of years ago in our Jeep but not off the beaten path as you were. Say hello to Izzy and Annie for me. See you when you make it to Ky.
Score on the trailer!!...Could move the solar panels to be easily fixed in but removable...then rooftop tent on the trailer or top of the jeep. Great production!
Great vid. So happy you guys got a trailer. It's way roomier and convenient for a later set up of a rooftop tent. I wouldn't count on those blue tops for holding a good charge. while they're great for jeeps because of high CCA's, they aren't a deep cell battery. Go by a sam's club and pick up some 6V golf batteries when you're ready to replace them. Those are good true deep cells for a great price. Nice footage from the south rim little colorado area.
Dude, the drone shots driving into the Grand Canyon were amazing! Love that trailer, if you spent any less than 7k, you got a deal on it!! Electric brakes, parking brake, 4 Optima batteries, 160 watts of solar power, holy cow man that thing is SET UP! Once you get a roof top tent for it, it's perfect. Man, loving it. Good job!!
iamjake amazing footage on this vlog. I can’t wait to see Izzy’s pictures. Im so glad she got to bring her camera. Being a Native American (I’m Mohegan) I’m in such “aw” with that location. Maybe one day I’ll get to go there too!
Hi Jake and Izzi, (and Annie), if you haven't installed a brake controller in the jeep, and you're planning on coming to San Diego, I'll be more than happy to help you with that. Great video!
Keep an eye on those batteries underneath that are on their sides. Batteries don't do well on their sides and if they bounce a lot they might start leaking. I'm assuming those batteries are the ones that the brakes will use and wouldn't be fun to have a surprise with your brakes.
Lift that trailer a bit and put a YJ matching bolt pattern and same sized wheel and tire as Jade on both sides. That way you have second and third spares in case you ever need them for Jade. Can always take a tire off and leave the trailer behind for later if you get super stranded that way.
My JK would beg to differ about the bolt pattern! :) That is why I mentioned it just to make sure, who would know by now what lug pattern a 50 year old trailer may have, or Jade for that matter, she no spring chicken herself now. hehe
can't believe that location you were able to get at the Gand Canyon!! once is a lifetime stuff there. Hopefully the trailer will make things easier. great find
Hey Jake. Do you have or remember coordinates or google map location for the grand canyon view point you ended up in? I know you said it was on Navajo land in the video, but it would be great to find a nice 4x4 trail to a more remote grand canyon view point. Even if you need to ask for permission.
Jake and Izzy, you should go the Hopi cultural center, they have a restaurant that serves blue cornmeal pancakes, yum! It's at the Second Mesa, Rt. 264. Also watch your speed entering small towns, some have traffic cams with radar. Enjoy!
33.858371,-112.505860 these are coordinance to a old jeep camp in Arizona. You should check it out for sure. I took some awesome pictures there. There's no roads getting to it and you have to go around a fence by driving in a dry river bed. Lol
iamjake Hopefully those coordinance work when you type them into Google Maps. That's what I got them from. I knew I'd never find the place again so I marked it on my Google maps. I'm sure you can find info about the old race track on Google too.
Do you have any link to your pictures, or can you make one? Genuinely interested in what it looks like. Also can you explain a bit about what it is? Like an old Jeep Club meeting area or proving ground or something? I see that I have driven within 20-30 miles of it on the 17 North, though in a WRX not my JK.
spamanator666 I don't know how to do that stuff. I just have them in my pictures on my phone. I heard it was a off-road camp and that's about it. It has a old playground for kids, old bathrooms, and a theater. Its been abandoned for many many years but still very cool. You can see some of it on Google earth. Oh and you could probably get there in a wrx as long as its not lowered at all. We were in my cousins truck that's literally lifted about 18inches on 44s. Lol
Passed you yesterday 12/6 on the I-17 in Phoenix. Cool to see you in Arizona wish I could have stopped and got a photo with you. Nice find on that trailer.
Great looking trailer Jake, when you get five minutes spare check out Patriot Campers, these guys are masters of camping trailers down under... All the best from the UK, Ian
Jake, that drone footage is amazing. The lighting, pans, views, scenery, editing, music... oh my word. Unreal. Great job! I just discovered you on UA-cam. Keep the adventure going. -Chris
Hey I live in Tennessee and I have a 2001 4runner and I was wanting to do a trip for a week w one of my buddies on spring break. Where/ what would you recomend me to need or go to
Question for Izzi, how do you develop pictures on the road? Do you plan to make regular stops or do you have the stuff you need to develop the photos with you and just find a place that you temporarily convert to a dark room?
Thanks! Would love to see her set up in a future video! I understand how a photographer who works digitally can travel light but it would be great to see how a photographer who uses film manages to develop their photos while on the road. Also would like to see how you guys worked out how you fit both your things on to Jade. Did either of you have to get rid of anything? What do you guys keep on hand and what goes on top, and now what goes in the trailer. It would be cool to see how much your routine has changed now that Izzi is around. Cheers! Keep on Jeeping you guys. (Hugs and kisses to Jade and Annie)
Jake your living the dream brother I’m in high school and I’ve watched most of your videos in a few day a while ago and been subscribed since and keep the Jeep life rad
Just binged together last 6 videos you put out to get caught up again-pretty awesome how y’all are starting to modify and adapt more to the road life! We’ve got contacts in South Dakota at Ellsworth AFB if y’all ever head out that way! I would say we could help you out but we are stationed in Germany the next two years! Stay safe!
Graham Atkinson - Yes, it's my favorite color - flat olive drab! This is where I bought it - www.armyjeepparts.com/p-2881-34087-wwii-flat-khaki-olive-drab-rattle-can-34087.aspx
Been watching from the beginning man the jeep has come a really long way, if they made light bar type lights but circular like the stock lights on the jeep would be sick
how can I get to that spot? My wife has always wanted to go see the Grand canyon. I would like to surprise her with a Jeep road trip ending in this spot. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Aw man, I'm gonna miss the jamboree! Won't be back in AZ till the end of the month... Hope you're still bouncing around AZ around then, would love to run into ya
Awesome vid Jake! Love the new trailer and Izzi is adorable! The drone shots and editing were epic! Can’t wait to see more adventures. I do miss the signature 360 spin off Jade and the “Happy Freakin xxxday” tho😉 Safe travels!
I hope you and Izzy are having a whole lot of fun, and that trailer is super sweet. Hope I can do something like that when I grow up. Thanks for making such awesome content.😃
Hey everybody! Upload time took 5 hours today, I was hoping to get it out earlier! I hope you enjoyed the video though and we can not thank you enough for your support!
What are you using to upload? do you have a wifi hotspot device or run a hotspot through your phone?
iamjake now you need a roof top tent! Rolling in style!
Yes, I have mobile hotspot that allows me to do just that!
iamjake thats a sweet trailer man love it
iamjake I have been subscribe seens you had 20 subscribe
Izzi is ADORABLE! I totally see why you fell for her! Those Grand Canyon shots are some best you've ever taken, Jake. You've come so far and I can't wait for the future!

Man, you owe us nothing but I miss these videos. Those shots, editing, and the energy you have are amazing

I happy for you Jake. You seem happy it’s much better to live your dream with someone you care about.
John Gerlang - Thank you!
Awesome moment when you took the extra time to pick up that glass in the campsite. Leave no trace and leave it better than you found it, best mottos to camp by.
Will McCort - Agreed! Thank you!

Evening about this video is truly amazing. Thanks so much Jake

Mike Robbins - Yes, we're so happy to have it and it's exactly what I was hoping for. Thank you!
You should put a roof top tent on top the trailer to have a more comfortable sleeping set up
I love this relationship that's happened on your journey. So adorable!
Punjabi - Me too - thank you!
Thanks you two for Leaving It Better Than You Found It.
B Wild Journals - Yes, that's important to us to do! Thank you!
Do a video on how you find offroad/ overlanding trails and how you don't get lost lol
Stewart Turek yes!! Was wondering the same!
Definitely!
I second the motion!
Agreed.
Score on the trailer!!...Could move the solar panels to be easily fixed in but removable...then rooftop tent on the trailer or top of the jeep. Great production!
The trailer is so sweet I'm glad you got a jeep trailer!

Edwin Rodriguez - Thank you!
You can also flip the axles and that will give you a couple inches lift. Oh and see you at Lake Pleasant Saturday Buddy!!
djzrizon - Thank you - looking forward to it!
Good job!!
Vinny Gullotta - Yes, less than $4K - Thank you!
wow that's awesome, nice work, you're going to love that thing. Those military trailers are beasts. =)
I shouldn’t be using my data to watch this but I’m impatient
Free Bird - Appreciate it! Thank you!
iamjake amazing footage on this vlog. I can’t wait to see Izzy’s pictures. Im so glad she got to bring her camera.
Being a Native American (I’m Mohegan) I’m in such “aw” with that location. Maybe one day I’ll get to go there too!
Free Bird - Her Instagram is - Izzi_Torres - Thank you!
iamjake awesome! I’m following. Now you just got to get to a dark room 😃
If you don't like it. Try the GSA website and swap everything over. They have a lot of mil trailers on auction.
Superb cinematography.
EddieTtown Vagabond - Thank you!
WOW those drone shots, AMAZING!
I really want one of those Overlanding trailers! They are not cheap. But they look incredible! Thanks for sharing your adventure!
Jim Gillespie - Thank you!
Thank you for following leave no trace rule. Hats off to you!
thade Splatter - Yes, we always keep it better than we found it! Thank you!
Hi Jake and Izzi, (and Annie), if you haven't installed a brake controller in the jeep, and you're planning on coming to San Diego, I'll be more than happy to help you with that. Great video!

Since you got the trailer to hold everything from the roof rack does this mean you might invest in a rooftop tent ?
I just picked my 1945 Bantam Trailer to be towed behind my 1949 Willys Overland 1 ton Pickup Truck. For vintage overland travel
Lift that trailer a bit and put a YJ matching bolt pattern and same sized wheel and tire as Jade on both sides. That way you have second and third spares in case you ever need them for Jade. Can always take a tire off and leave the trailer behind for later if you get super stranded that way.
Oh crap, I just realized you said pretty much that in the video, I was distracted when watching earlier.
My JK would beg to differ about the bolt pattern! :) That is why I mentioned it just to make sure, who would know by now what lug pattern a 50 year old trailer may have, or Jade for that matter, she no spring chicken herself now. hehe
Wish I could travel like this
Should put a rubber flap in front of the lower batterys to deflect flying rocks from your drive tires on gravel roads.
Blackf350 - Thank you for the suggestion!
What kind of boxes are they, didn't seen them at Home Depot. Might fit my as well.
Man those GC shots were sick. And glad to help! When I'm done uni I want to try doing a similar thing, you keep me motivated!
Ben R - Thanks - I don't think the camera and drone do it justice - it's absolutely beautiful. You should definitely do it - you won't regret it!
You can put a Tent on the top of the trailer? 🤔
Carlos R. Leandry there's a old trailer that they used to make and it was a pop up tent
can't believe that location you were able to get at the Gand Canyon!! once is a lifetime stuff there. Hopefully the trailer will make things easier. great find

I want a dog like annie and a girl like Izzy! Where can I find them?
Jake and Izzy, you should go the Hopi cultural center, they have a restaurant that serves blue cornmeal pancakes, yum! It's at the Second Mesa, Rt. 264. Also watch your speed entering small towns, some have traffic cams with radar. Enjoy!
Hey man, get a roof top tent, you can mount it on the trailer as well (after some tacks install).
The Grand Canyon looks amazing! One of the places I've never been but definitely going to go there soon!
Nick Trent - You've just got to see it in person - the camera and drone just don't do it justice!
33.858371,-112.505860 these are coordinance to a old jeep camp in Arizona. You should check it out for sure. I took some awesome pictures there. There's no roads getting to it and you have to go around a fence by driving in a dry river bed. Lol

iamjake don't do it. You'll lose your organs ^^

Yes!! What’s that trail you’re one around the canyon?! 😍
Those are some amazing shots but how did you do it?
4 optima blue tops alone are $1k. You got a good deal and great drone footage!
jak p - Yes, I sure did! Thank you!
I have been wanting one of those exact trailers to toe behind Hazel (my TJ). Good score Jake.
Jeff Reid - Thank you!
Love the trailer! Was hoping it was an off-road teardrop with a cooking quarters
I use those bins. work great on top of my roof rack. Nice and cheap too!!
Summer Lofn - Thank you!
His TMNT is my favorite, he’s had that forever
I knew it. I knew you got the drone shots of the GC! Sick! And im jealous lol
The Pursuit with Dillon - Thank you!
Tatahatso point is by far the BEST! No tourists, amazing view!!
Why Do you don't put the späte tyer at the trailer? So you can open the tailgate and keep the weight of your rig
Jan Breidenbach - Thank you for the suggestion!
reminds me of a conestoga caravan in a western the way jade is loaded up
Hey I live in Tennessee and I have a 2001 4runner and I was wanting to do a trip for a week w one of my buddies on spring break. Where/ what would you recomend me to need or go to
You deserve way more subscribers with the amount of effort you put into the videos
Question for Izzi, how do you develop pictures on the road? Do you plan to make regular stops or do you have the stuff you need to develop the photos with you and just find a place that you temporarily convert to a dark room?
Loki Firefox - Thank you - Yes, she is able to develop with a portable dark room!
Donald Warf - Thank you!
Damn! That trailer is the shit! What a find. Wish you and Izzy and Annie and Jade all the luck in the world. Good fortune.
That part of the Grand Canyon looks AMAZING!
I can't even describe how beautiful! Thank you, Roger!
Hey what year is your Jeep
i hope you grabbed the lids to those containers
Mike Korn - I sure did! Didn't get it caught on camera! Thank you!
Anyone know where that grand canyon spot is? That was so tight
So where do u actually camp, is it like a public park or camp or is it just anywhere 🤔
@iamjake what is the 50 state questionnaire?
it looks like your missing the driver side wheel dust cover on the trailer you might want to get one and check the wheel bearings while your at it
Chris W - Thank you for the suggestion!
Stay safe!
Otter - Thank you for your service! Thank you!
Those of us with AT&T U-verse have that vista as a screen saver!
Yakky Doodle - That's awesome and it was so beautiful in person!
Jake when are you guys headed back to San Diego.
Hey what kind of paint is used on Jade? I want that green sort of chalk board look and Jade's colour is the one I wanted.
Graham Atkinson - Yes, it's my favorite color - flat olive drab! This is where I bought it - www.armyjeepparts.com/p-2881-34087-wwii-flat-khaki-olive-drab-rattle-can-34087.aspx
iamjake I wasn't expecting a reply but I mean holy crap YOU replied props for that man I love you.

So happy for you Jake! following your story from the sailboat to now, I️ don’t think your journey could have gone any better👍🏽
M L - Thank you!
Where is the overlook at 2:46?
Been watching from the beginning man the jeep has come a really long way, if they made light bar type lights but circular like the stock lights on the jeep would be sick
Cool... I sometimes miss my trailer for my LJ. Another great video. Love the scenery.
Scott Slade - Thank you!
What kind of drone you got there man?
Hi Jake, do you have the coordinate of the location @2:41? Thank you for sharing your experience!
the sandman footage was awesome!!
That little 'cute' blanket could overheat your beloved Annie..
When are you finished with the Air Force Jake?
Can't you put a rooftent on the trailer?
how can I get to that spot? My wife has always wanted to go see the Grand canyon. I would like to surprise her with a Jeep road trip ending in this spot. any help would be greatly appreciated.
This is by far my favorite episode, yet! Trailer looks awesome with Jade, you oughtta name Jades baby as well!
Marcus Ostlin - Thank you!
Just curious, how exactly do you get money to do this? Or did you save up before hand?
Aw man, I'm gonna miss the jamboree! Won't be back in AZ till the end of the month... Hope you're still bouncing around AZ around then, would love to run into ya
Kelton Green - I'm not sure right now when I'll be leaving AZ.
Awesome vid Jake! Love the new trailer and Izzi is adorable! The drone shots and editing were epic! Can’t wait to see more adventures. I do miss the signature 360 spin off Jade and the “Happy Freakin xxxday” tho😉 Safe travels!
Imkwuzn - Thank you!
How much did you get the trailer for. I have been looking can be pricey
Now it’s time for a CB radio in Jade. Not only for safety reasons while on the road. But to talk to others while on a trail.
LSanti - I have one! Thank you!
I hope you and Izzy are having a whole lot of fun, and that trailer is super sweet. Hope I can do something like that when I grow up. Thanks for making such awesome content.😃
cookienugget - Thank you!
When the drone footage came up it gave me chills that place is something else. Magical. Keep it up man!!!
I wish that i would have money to do something like this.
Mark the driver - Thank you!
Amazing drone shots. Nicely done.
Kevin Irwin - Thank you!
