In the beginning, I was nervous, if truly I could speak like a native, but Today I am not done, but I can watch movies, news, without subtitles, good enough I speak like a Native, Awww Yeah!
So I was doing in a wrong form. I've watched in a first time with English subtitles and a second one without and looking for the meaning about uncomprehension words in an English-english dictionary. I loved your advices. Thanks a lot.
I totally agree with this method. It is very effective. The first time I watch without subtitle, even though I can't undestand the most words, I can get better the pronunciation and intonation than what I would watching with. Then when I watch with subtitles, I get a lot of words that I didn't get the first time. And when I watch without subtitles again, I can get the words and understand why I couldn't get the words in the first time. That increases my listening skills significantly.
I'm in love with this method of learning. We're all so lucky that we found you guys. Thank you so much for everything you guys are doing for us to improve our english. This channel is incredible, fun and very helpful, i'm improving a lot. P.S: Andrea, your sweater in this video is gorgeous!!

I watch paying attention to the details, because I want to understand everything. What I do is watch without subtitles and then review with subtitles to see what words I missed, in case I missed any. At my current level, I believe the only thing missing for me to become "fluent" is vocabulary. 12/09/2021 my start
Hi, I think you should make more videos about rap music because they have many contractions and there are lots of words they use in a different way, such as Goosebumps (Travis Scott), Life is good (Drake), 50 cent songs, and so on. Thank you for video , when I watch video relevant to English , even though I do not want to look subtitle, I usually look at that though. Occasionaly I wacth videos with 0.75 speed. What do you think about LLN extension to Netflix and watch without subtitles, back only to sentences that we don't understand, watch only this sentence witch subtitles, if we don't understand watch again witch native subtitles, and watch again without subtitles? With LLN we can repeat sentence many times, and I think it's very good. :) Which one method is better? Repeat all scene or single sentences?
Thsnks. I’ll try u method.. but problem is.. some of actors such as Bruce Willis . Speaks so peculiarly.. and without sub very hard to understand.. And what is surprising that i understand 95% on u channel.. And for example . I watch “the boys” all 2 seasons and i understand 90%. With sub Wonder woman 1984- 85-90 % with sub Bur Friends and BBT i understand 75% with sub.. yes i know that in BBT a lot of physics worlds.. but this two serials is hard to understand me. Thanks.
I think this method a little boring if you're watching a movie or a tv serie with long episodes but it works quite well on youtube videos with about 10, 20 minutes
but, i just watch with subtitles to earn new words and if someone talks to me with simple and easy words I will understand them + it is hard for me to watch a movie or an episode twice
I agree, I've been watching movies and tv series with subtitles and my vocabulary and even my listening increased a lot , but when I try to rewatch something I get bored quickly and can't pay attention to the movie/serie anymore
both of you are correct but I prefer to watch a movie or TV series that you like and believe me every time you watch and imitate, you will save new worlds easily with out any effort
