Because of grade pressure in China, teachers areoverwhelmingly the ones who build themachines, but our team has tried to adopt themodel of us designing the drawings for thestudents to build the machines as much aspossible, as well as letting the students buildtheir own machines for an in-house tournamentduring the summer vacation.
With how teams are in this time of year, this robot was 100% mentor built. This means teams with Pnuematics now have a Pay To Win advantage at worlds against teams that don't. Mannnn

To all of the people who say, “there’s no way this was made by kids” yall underestimate the determination of some of the kids of the world. Kids with the right resources are able to make that kind of robot, and there’s also no point in speculating whether they are mentor built or not, you either beat them or you don’t, whether they’re mentor built or not

let's be real, if I remember correctly a few seasons ago there were many designs such as this one which were alot harder to make. Also, have yall never seen the older seasons? Bankshot robots were insane yet no one called them mentor built

I find it very hard to believe that students designed and built this. Mentor built robots like this make real teams very discouraged.
