I still can’t believe that Legends of the Dark Knight hasn’t been collected in Omnibus format yet! It’s Batman in stories created by some of the best people in comics.
I’ve been praying for a Warlord omnibus for years. When one thinks of creators synonymous with a single title, Mike Grell and Warlord are up there, and there are few that did the writing and art for such a long period on a single title as did Grell on his signature book. Some great characters, great story arcs and a fun read… and amazing covers every single month? WARLORD!
I really, really want DC to complete WW’s Golden Age run. I know we have Vol. 5 coming in October but by my count we need Vol. 6 & Vol. 7 to get to issue 97 (official end of the GA in WW’s history and we’re at issue 47) with the current release w/ about 25 comics reprinted per issue). How many years will we wait…😫 Yes, Gail Simone’s Birds of Prey!! Yes please!
I’d want an omnibus for Paul Levitz’s second Legion Of Super-Heroes run from Great Darkness Saga to Magic Wars. They’re about to do the second volume of Five Years Later so I’m hoping it’s already being considered. And not to get too nitpicky as I love your choice of Sandman Mystery Theatre - it’s my favorite Vertigo title, bar none - but you didn’t mention including the Sandman Midnight Theatre one-shot where Morpheus and Wes Dodds actually meet! It’s within the regular series continuity as it provides a crucial turning point in Wes and Diane’s relationship.
The fact Shade hasn't been recollection disappoints me. Milligan is an incredible writer and his run on Shade is the greatest example. I had to go on an ebay scavenger hunt to collect the whole series and even got those 3 tpbs that collected the first 19 issues. It was worth it. I've been hoping DC will give it a chance. Maybe this will get their attention. They have my money.
Animal Man by Jamie Delano (could include Peter Milligan and Tom Veitch runs) Shade The Changing Man by Peter Milligan Hellblazer by Jamie Delano Swamp Thing by Rick Veitch Dr Fate by JM DeMatteis and Shawn McManus Wonder Woman by Greg Rucka Catwoman by Will Pfeifer Birds of Prey by Gail Simone
I absolutely geeked out and yelled, “YES” on my lunch break (as colleagues stared) when you mentioned Batgirl w/ Cassandra Cain! I’d buy that yesterday as I love this version of Batgirl and never cared for any other. I would also LOVE Our Worlds at War Omni. Ohhhh man, that would be awesome. Lol.
1) Starman by James Robinson. 2) Nightwing by Chuck Dixon. 3) LoSH by Levitz. 4) Firestorm. 5) Cassandra Cain Batgirl. Or at the very least complete the TPB run. 6) Kyle Rainer Green Lantern! I don’t think there is enough material for an omnibus but I definitely want to see The Abnett and Lanning Legion collected in a hardcover. Loooooved that run of the Legion. Totally agree about the Tim Drake Robin.
Power Shazam by Jerry Ordway. Saddly they never finished those hardcovers, and there's no news of them picking it back up. I'll even settle for a compendium. It's criminal it hasn't been fully collected yet. Oh and also a Blue Beetle by Len Wein Omnibus. Underrated run.
ditto with WildCATs - it's been on my omnibus wishlist for the longest time. Other titles on my DC wishlist: - The Dark Knight by Frank Miller - The Dreaming (1996) - Doom Patrol by John Arcudi (2001) - Doom Patrol by Keith Giffen (2009) - Doom Patrol by Gerard Way (2016) - John Constantine, Hellblazer (like, everything that's collected in all 26 thick trades) - Swamp Thing by Alan Moore - Transmetropolitan
Might be a weird omnibus to want, but I really want to get an Infinity Inc omnibus. The more I read/hear about the team, the more it hits me as an odd team with so many odd villains and hero's. That and Mr. Bones exists, so that's always a plus.
I would love to not only have a GLC omnibus, but also the other series that came in the New 52 like Neg Guardians, Red Lanterns and Sinestro. Other Omnibuses I would love that you didn't mention are: -Greg Pak's Action Comics run that was very underrated -The Martian Manhunter series that was started by Ostrander -Some Doctor Fate, hopefully the series that was started by DeMatteis - A "Modern Era" omnibus of Cyborg collecting the New 52 and Rebirth series. -Electric Superman because that story rules. And for other formats, I would LOVE to have Aztek to complement Morrison's JLA Omnibus and a Wildstorm compendium set like they are doing for Milestone.
I would love a bunch of Wildstorm omnis. I've been a big Wildstorm fan for a long time and am tired of the only stuff getting any attention is Authority by Ellis and Millar. I love those runs, but want more Wildstorm than just that. Batman Beyond needs omnis as well.
Warlord!!! Omar you read my mind. When I was a kid I would get Detective Comics and Warlord every time I could find left over change. Mike Grell is such an underrated creator. The let Grell loose and he delivered. Wonderful series!
For me I'd say a Thunder Cat's omnibus collecting the entire Wildstorm series. Man Ed McGuiness drew the hell out of the Lion O and the gang. Also the entire Azrael solo series.
I would love to own a Flash by Williamson Omnibus. I loved that run from DC Rebrith. It was the first run I read and it made me fall in love with comics. I would love to The Flash by Williamson mapped out and put into omnibus format.
I’m desperate for that next New Titans Omnibus! The Titans Hunt, that end with issue 84 (and could please include only the Tom Grummett pages from the funeral in issue 85’s Epilogue!!), with all those shocks in that story AND the absolutely STELLAR art of Tom Grummett found throughout… Yes please!
I can’t believe how much I agree with your list. Where I would disagree I would plug in more Superman and related titles. Superboy and Steel from the 90’s Omnis. Superman Omnis that fill in what’s between Exile and Death Of. Dan Jurgens Rebirth Action Comics and include the Convergence 2 parter and Lois and Clark mini.
I'd love to see a Dennis O'Neil Batman omnibus series. Especially the ones he did in the Bronze age. I have collections by Len Wein, Gerry Conway & Steve Englehart and I'm wondering when we'll get one for Denny, who had such a critical role in making Batman a more serious book after the '60s TV show. I'd also like to see the eighties version of Blue Beetle get an Omni. I think all of his comics could fit in one Omni. What do you think?
ALL STAR SQUADRON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSe!!!!!!!!!!!! :) And the complete Paul Levit's LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES era, especially post-Great Darkness.
Thank you for giving Warlord by Mike Grell some love! That would be my number one choice! Would also love Hitman by Ennis and Secret Six, along with John Ostrander Spectre as well! Some others I'd love to see are All Star Squadron, L.E.G.I.O.N., and some Scalphunter western issues. Read the Starman Compendium and there were some references to him and reminded me how much I enjoyed those Weird Western stories back in the day.
I'd like to see Moore's Swamp Thing in omnibus format (in original colors or something close to them). And though I know technically "Starman" has been released in short omnibus formats (really OHCs) I'd love to see those issues collected in two big omni volumes that includes The Shade mini-series.
Well said Omar. I've been pushing for the "SANDMAN MYSTERY THEATRE" Omnibus for the past 7yrs and due to it's ties with Neil Gaiman's "SANDMAN" I thought this would have been a no brainer for publication in a deluxe format. I have the 70 issue run which I still consider to be some of the best murder/mystery crime noir stories ever written. The other writer was Steven T. Seagle Here's hoping this happens soon. Also agree that "Man of Steel" is long overdue!
I was super annoyed when they stopped the trade collections. David has a habit of his reprint collections stopping before his run is finished. Hulk, Spiderman 2099, X factor (2005) are examples of this. On the positive side these runs are/will be collected in omnibus format. The fact that his Hulk run will be completed in omnibus format and his X factor run getting a second volume may persuade DC to give his Supergirl, Aquaman runs the omnibus treatment.
Agreed. Geoff Johns Superman run is the only one not collected in omni.. And that's his best run I feel. Also need an omnibus of Green Lantern runs by Venditti and Morrison!!
All of them. DC get your shit together. But Ima stick with the Superman route since he's on the shelf. 1. John Byrnes MOS Panic In The Sky (We have have Exile, Death & Return) 3. Superman/Doomsday (See #2)
I love your #9 Messner-Loebs Wonder Woman, I'd buy that! And I REALLY like that cover. I've been an Artemis fan since the first time I saw her step out of the jungle.
I know just a little more than half of these titles, but the amount of work you put into this is seriously amazing, Omar. Hats off to you, brother, and hopefully we'll see some if not all of these announced!
I Totally feel you on the Spectre Omnibuses, I love that series, and they balked at collecting it. I also would love an Aquaman by Dan Abnett omni. I loved how he built on the Geoff Johns-verse and added Game of Thrones and even current events into it.
Secret Six by Gail Simone is my #1 desired omnibus. I would buy a Jamie Delano Hellblazer omnibus but I would also expect it to have the pandemonium graphic novel and the bad blood miniseries that he wrote.
I would so love to (eventually) see Birds of Prey collected all the way from 96 to 2011, so Dixon, Moore, Hernandez, Simone, all of it without orphaning issues here and there, and hopefully include some of the few crossover issues with Nightwing etc. If DC felt more comfortable starting with a Simone omni because it would sell more, that's fine. Just get us some Birds of Prey (pre- New 52) omnis! I will buy them! I haven't read Secret Six yet, but the way you've talked about it so enthusiastically over the years also makes me hope there will be an omnibus of it eventually. I would also love to see a hardcover omni collection of Top 10, but I guess we are not getting that now that they have the softcover compendium coming. Still! Also Omar! Hate to be that guy, but! I noticed you've changed your camera, but I've also noticed you've changed your audio a little. Do you think you can lower/balance/whatever your input levels just a little bit? It feels like you're maxed out or on the cusp of maxing out, and I feel like the slightly softer audio from before was much nicer on the ears, hear the July DC previews video for instance for the difference: ua-cam.com/video/ZZKcmSPc7DE/v-deo.html Love your work and I hope you and your family are doing well! Much love!
Flash by Williamson Deathstroke by Wolfman Nightwing by Dixon Aquaman by PAD Green Lantern Corps Earth 2 New 52 Just to name a few haha.. great list OMAR !!!
1. Ostrander Suicide Squad 2. Peter David Supergirl 3. Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight (1989-2007) 4. Post-Zero Hour Legion of Superheroes 5. Greg Rucka Checkmate
I’d love if DC would do the SILVER/BRONZE AGE Batman, Superman, Hawkman, The Atom, Sgt. Rock, Enemy Ace, Haunted Tank, The Viking Prince, Black Hawk, … I love this stuff.
WOW!! Omar that’s an AWESOME list and I agree with you on many of your choices!!! Top of my list is Suicide Squad, The Spectre, Hitman, and DEFINITELY Secret six!!!
These are some great picks! I'd especially love to get Birds of Prey and Batgirl as omnis. I have all the trades of both (which I got at *mostly* reasonable prices, but they're still missing huge chunks from the middles of both series. Manhunter would also be a cool one; it's a very underappreciated series. Also, if I'm going to get greedy, Starman is so good and so beautiful, it really deserves not just an omnibus but to be printed in absolute format.
I think one reason that the Green Lantern Corps has not gotten the Omni treatment is because a lot of the material is collected across the Blackest Night and Brightest day omnis, as well as the absolutes.
That's some great selections you have made Omar. I would probably collect most of the titles you mentioned. I would add a collection of All Star Squadron and Infinity Inc written by Roy Thomas and artwork by Jerry Ordway and Rich Buckler. Mixture of history meshed with golden age superheroes. Unfortunately the Starman Compendiums do not include the Shade's journal and the letter columns written by James Robinson. They enhance the texture of the narrative and add more layers to the characters.
I was really expecting to see Legends of the Dark knight Omnibus here..those trades are long out of print and really deserve a hardcover or omnibus treatment..Legends of the dark knight always stood out to me in Batman series. Some really awesome stories their like Shaman(which was singled out by Robert pattionson to be highly influential on his role in the new movie) Gothic,Venom ,Prey etc.
My personal most wanted omnibus are Steel, he’s such an underrated character. Judd Winick’s The Outsiders and Titans (both had Book one volumes and volumes 2 were announced then suddenly canceled) another Teen Titans Omnibus including the rebirth era into the Adam Glass era. vDC is missing out on so much money for not releasing so many of these books in omnibus form or at least finishing the complete Book runs. They’re notorious for always canceling complete book runs before the story is complete. I mean seriously who is making all these decisions?
Many great suggestions especially Grant/Breyfogle Batman and Ostrander Suicide Squad, but my Top 2 are Swamp Thing by Alan Moore (I'm not into Absolutes) and Silver Age Sgt Rock. Plus Bronze Age Batman.
You mentioned all of my choices. John Byrne Superman, Connor Hawke era GA, Andreyko Manhunter, and Shade the Changing Man. Also, I would really dig a Resurrection Man omnibus.
Warlord was great. They stopped distributing it in the UK after about issue 10 because there was a British war comic of the same name. Unfortunately Mike Grell left the interior art because he didn't like Vince Colletta's inks.
I was expecting Kyler Raynor Green Lantern early years in the list. Maybe including emerald twilight. I would like more Red Hood omnis as I heard it gets way better after the only New 52 Omni we got.
Shade, Hitman, Birds of Prey, Sandman Mystery Theatre, Spectre, Green Lantern Corps and Starman for sure Jonah Hex, Azrael and my boy Booster Gold Filling out the New 52 and Rebirth era as well
Flash, Green lantern and Batman right after Crisis on Infinite earths, Robin by Chuck Dixon. Tom Strong and Promethea and Hellblazer, Green lantern corp, Hitman and Shade.
I agree with all your picks .. I would add: Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight (the 225 numbers) Batman: Shadow of the Bat (the 96 numbers) Detective Comics before Batman Firestorm (Fury of Firestorm, Firestorm: The Nuclear Man) Legion of Super-Heroes by Paul Levitz Starman (Will Payton) by Roger Stern Superman (the "triangle" era)
Oh man so much yes on the entire list nicely done Omar! Batman, Robin, Nightwing, SS, GLC, Aquaman, Marvel/DC and your honorable mentions. I to have the Wildcats Absolute but yeah if an omni came with more content from Robinson and Moore than i'd have to dive back in. Hilarious but predictable that MOS was #1 but thank you for fighting that fight. It will happen because i spent the money and bought the 4 HCs! :D Good on you for bringing up supporting William M Loebs. I'd also like to add maybe a Showcase Omnibus (multi years) or various Elseworlds books by characters
Hitman is top on my list. Got a hold of some trade paperbacks and really loved it. Ennis isn't as polished as he later would become (Preacher, Punisher Max) but his genius shines through.
And how about a second Adam Strange Omni? Something that collects all his back up stories from Green Lantern, any major appearance in other series, the 90s mini series, the planet heist mini and the Rann/Thanagar War mini.
My number 1 and 2 are probably the Tim Drake Robin and Cassandra Cain Batgirl stuff mostly because the tpbs were canceled. For post crisis Batman, before starting at Batman 401 and Detective Comics 568, I’d like to see: Batman Year One Omnibus: Batman 404-407, Legends of the Dark Knight 1-5, Legends of the Dark Knight 16-20, Legends of the Dark Knight 89-90, Shadow of the Bat Annual 3, Batman and the Monster Men 1-6, Batman and the Mad Monk 1-6, Legends of the Dark Knight 11-15, Legends of the Dark Knight Annual 5, Detective Comics Annual 8, Detective Comics 784-786 Batman Year Two Omnibus: Batman Annual 19, Legends of the Dark Knight 6-10, Legends of the Dark Knight 21-23, Legends of the Dark Knight 24-26, Legends of the Dark Knight Halloween Special 1, Madness - A Legends of the Dark Knight Halloween Special, Ghosts - A Legends of the Dark Knight Halloween Special, Batman The Long Halloween 1-12, Batman 575-578, Legends of the Dark Knight 71-73, Legends of the Dark Knight 83-84 Batman Year Three Omnibus: Batman Dark Victory 0-13, Robin Annual 4, Catwoman When in Rome 1-6, Robin Year One 1-4, Batgirl Year One 1-6, Legends of the Dark Knight 28-30, Legends of the Dark Knight 32-34, Legends of the Dark Knight 137-141
I really need a Nightwing by Chuck Dixon and Batman Legends of the dark knight.
I still can’t believe that Legends of the Dark Knight hasn’t been collected in Omnibus format yet! It’s Batman in stories created by some of the best people in comics.
I would like them to collect these series in Compendium's.
I've been wanting Nightwing by Dixon for ages
DC is leaving a lot of money on the table that could be theirs.
Ooh, 20 is a lot! Let's go.
20. Kupperberg Vigilante
19. Kupperberg Checkmate
18. R.E.B.E.L.S.
17. L.E.G.I.O.N.
16. Veitch Swamp Thing
15. CC Beck Captain Marvel
14. Jack Cole Plastic Man
13. DeMatteis Dr. Fate
12. Ostrander Manhunter
11. PAD Supergirl
10. Madame Xanadu
9. Palmiotti & Gray Jonah Hex
8. Ostrander Firestorm
7. Sandman Mystery Theatre
6. Ostrander Martian Manhunter
5. Tom Strong
4. Hawkworld
3. PAD Aquaman
2. Milligan Shade the Changing Man
1. Ostrander Spectre
Firestorm ❤️
#9 please

I'm always glad to see Hitman get a mention.
Nice way to reflect what some of the readers want from publishers 🙏🙏🙏
Filling that Legion gap between the Curse OHC and the Five Years Later run is one of my big omnibus wants too. Such an incredible era for the LoSH.
YES! An Paul Levitz’s second Legion Of Super-Heroes run from Great Darkness Saga to Magic Wars Omnibus would be so sweet.
The fact Shade hasn't been recollection disappoints me. Milligan is an incredible writer and his run on Shade is the greatest example. I had to go on an ebay scavenger hunt to collect the whole series and even got those 3 tpbs that collected the first 19 issues. It was worth it.

I hope so, too, but it’s so unknown.
Animal Man by Jamie Delano (could include Peter Milligan and Tom Veitch runs)
Shade The Changing Man by Peter Milligan
Hellblazer by Jamie Delano
Swamp Thing by Rick Veitch
Dr Fate by JM DeMatteis and Shawn McManus
Wonder Woman by Greg Rucka
Catwoman by Will Pfeifer
Birds of Prey by Gail Simone
I absolutely geeked out and yelled, “YES” on my lunch break (as colleagues stared) when you mentioned Batgirl w/ Cassandra Cain! I’d buy that yesterday as I love this version of Batgirl and never cared for any other. I would also LOVE Our Worlds at War Omni. Ohhhh man, that would be awesome. Lol.
I'd love Cassandra Cain, that Wonder Woman run, and Warlord, for sure
The Suicide Squad was also featured heavily in the Arrowverse back in the Arrow days! Crazy that we don't have an Omni yet. Let's make it happen!!!!
I feel like DC is just now realizing the market for Omnibuses.
Omar, DC needs to hire you to help them out. What a great list. Their is something for everyone in your top twenty. Can not wait for your Marvel list.
I so have been waiting for that Spectre omnibus, make it happen DC
I am totally on board for the Secret Six. Loved that crazy group. Hoping some Omnibus love is shown to them soon
Oh God yes please
I 100% AGREE WITH YOU WHEN IT COMES TO NIGHTWING HE IS MY FAVORITE AND I NEED THAT Chuck Dixon run on Nightwing!!!!
Legion by Waid and Secret Six by Simone are my picks.
man, gimme all Triangle years Superman omnibuses--that is the era I love the most
ditto with WildCATs - it's been on my omnibus wishlist for the longest time. Other titles on my DC wishlist:
- The Dark Knight by Frank Miller
- The Dreaming (1996)
- Doom Patrol by John Arcudi (2001)
- Doom Patrol by Keith Giffen (2009)
- Doom Patrol by Gerard Way (2016)
- John Constantine, Hellblazer (like, everything that's collected in all 26 thick trades)
- Swamp Thing by Alan Moore
- Transmetropolitan
Might be a weird omnibus to want, but I really want to get an Infinity Inc omnibus.
The more I read/hear about the team, the more it hits me as an odd team with so many odd villains and hero's.
That and Mr. Bones exists, so that's always a plus.
Love Mr. Bones!
Ordwar and McFarlane art. There really is nothing to consider here.

YES SHADE! To make it complete it should prob include Hellblazer 267-272, and the Flashpoint: Secret Seven mini - all also by Milligan
For me I'd say a Thunder Cat's omnibus collecting the entire Wildstorm series. Man Ed McGuiness drew the hell out of the Lion O and the gang. Also the entire Azrael solo series.
"I don't know how this book hasn't been printed before."
Yeah I feel that way with a lot of DC books
I would love to own a Flash by Williamson Omnibus. I loved that run from DC Rebrith. It was the first run I read and it made me fall in love with comics. I would love to The Flash by Williamson mapped out and put into omnibus format.
It's coming out the 9th of April

A Green Lantern Corps Omnibus series would be amazing
Supergirl by Peter David is one of the best books of the 90s. It was so frustrating that they stopped collecting it in trade.

I love your #9 Messner-Loebs Wonder Woman, I'd buy that!
And I REALLY like that cover. I've been an Artemis fan since the first time I saw her step out of the jungle.
I'd like to see a Flash by William Messner-Loebs collection. I think there's enough material to warrant an omnibus.
I know just a little more than half of these titles, but the amount of work you put into this is seriously amazing, Omar. Hats off to you, brother, and hopefully we'll see some if not all of these announced!
The Warlord omnis should probably also include the series from 00's too.
We all love the come back of the new camera! Was it packed at the bottom of a box with the Wolverine by Daniel Way trades???
New stationary camera and mic for when we are in front of the camera. :)
@@NearMintCondition Definitely looks stellar, gives you that Warlock gold skin ✨
I Totally feel you on the Spectre Omnibuses, I love that series, and they balked at collecting it. I also would love an Aquaman by Dan Abnett omni. I loved how he built on the Geoff Johns-verse and added Game of Thrones and even current events into it.
Shade the Changing Man, keep beating that drum, Omar, people need to know.
Secret Six by Gail Simone is my #1 desired omnibus.
I would buy a Jamie Delano Hellblazer omnibus but I would also expect it to have the pandemonium graphic novel and the bad blood miniseries that he wrote.
Thanks, Omar. Great call with Sandman Mystery Theater!
Thank you, sir.
The Tim Drake issues from the Knightfall event were the highlights for me, definitely need that era collected!
,,Wild CATS ,, I LOVE this title.Amazing art from Jim LEE.

Some really great ones here! I'd love to see. Jessica and Simon Green Lanterns Omni. Some dope characters that need some more love.
Excited to see what type of stories you’ve got on your list, and hopefully some get made in the future
100% agree with the suicide squad omnis. That run is amazing from the little bits I've read, and I'd love love own it in omni format. Maybe one day 🤞
Flash by Williamson
Deathstroke by Wolfman
Nightwing by Dixon
Aquaman by PAD
Green Lantern Corps
Earth 2 New 52
Just to name a few haha.. great list OMAR !!!
My brother! Hope you’ve been well.
@@NearMintCondition I’m tryna get better ! Thank you bro ! ❤️🤟🏾
1. Ostrander Suicide Squad
2. Peter David Supergirl
3. Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight (1989-2007)
4. Post-Zero Hour Legion of Superheroes
5. Greg Rucka Checkmate
I’d love if DC would do the SILVER/BRONZE AGE Batman, Superman, Hawkman, The Atom, Sgt. Rock, Enemy Ace, Haunted Tank, The Viking Prince, Black Hawk, … I love this stuff.
So glad the Dixon/McDaniel Nightwing omnibus made it high in your list. Yes PLEASE!
I really like that mapping is included. Gives everyone a much better idea of the material. Top marks!
I love Hitman so much. (Garth Ennis wrote my favorite Marine stories in any media while I was in.)
Superman Bronze Age omnis would be great to see.
They would be in my top 3 as well only read one arc but ive heard so much about it.
Superman Omnibuses, I think maybe ?3 ? between the Exile omnibus and DEATH&Rebirth omnibus that is something I am waiting 😁
My personal most wanted omnibus are
Steel, he’s such an underrated character.
Birds of Prey by Simone and Nightwing by Dixon are books that I'd love to see in omnibus format
Some really good pulls right here !!
Many great suggestions especially Grant/Breyfogle Batman and Ostrander Suicide Squad, but my Top 2 are Swamp Thing by Alan Moore (I'm not into Absolutes) and Silver Age Sgt Rock. Plus Bronze Age Batman.
Love to see a Kamandi omnibus. Collecting the original Jack Kirby classic and the recent homage. Also, the full run of Lobo's series!
You mentioned all of my choices. John Byrne Superman, Connor Hawke era GA, Andreyko Manhunter, and Shade the Changing Man. Also, I would really dig a Resurrection Man omnibus.
Warlord is my number one! Very much want Spectre and Green Lantern Corps also. Also a reprint of Hawkman Geoff Johns.
Forgot to put Robin that you mentioned also.
I really want Nightwing by chuck Dixon because I want to read Nightwing
Shade, Hitman, Birds of Prey, Sandman Mystery Theatre, Spectre, Green Lantern Corps and Starman for sure
Jonah Hex, Azrael and my boy Booster Gold
Filling out the New 52 and Rebirth era as well
I still want a Batman Beyond Omnibus or at least some sort of hardcover!
i wouldn't mind seeing a couple volumes of The Flash by Williamson in Omni and Young Justice
Flash, Green lantern and Batman right after Crisis on Infinite earths, Robin by Chuck Dixon. Tom Strong and Promethea and Hellblazer, Green lantern corp, Hitman and Shade.
We NEED that chuck Dixon nightwing omnibus
I agree with all your picks .. I would add:
Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight (the 225 numbers)
Batman: Shadow of the Bat (the 96 numbers)
Detective Comics before Batman
Firestorm (Fury of Firestorm, Firestorm: The Nuclear Man)
Legion of Super-Heroes by Paul Levitz
Starman (Will Payton) by Roger Stern
Superman (the "triangle" era)
Starman by Stern is a great choice!
I love these types of video lists
Thank you!
nice list Omar; I'd like to see a zatanna zatara omnibus.
Love “no f***ing around” thumbnail! :)
I want to see a lot of Silver Age omnis like the upcoming Batman. But I'll take any silver age.
Hell yeah for Supergirl, Robin, GL: Emerald Warriors, Batgirl & Nightwing!
Hurray for early Hellblazer!!!
Also waiting for:
- Wargames
- Contagion & Legacy
- Under the Red Hood
I agree with all of them but I would totally add Robert Vendittis Hawkman run. Such an overlooked series and more than worthy of an omnibus.
I’d love to see a Resurrection Man omnibus.
Green Lantern Corp would definitely be on my list. Patrick Gleason art!
My number 1 and 2 are probably the Tim Drake Robin and Cassandra Cain Batgirl stuff mostly because the tpbs were canceled.
For post crisis Batman, before starting at Batman 401 and Detective Comics 568, I’d like to see:
Batman Year One Omnibus:
Batman 404-407, Legends of the Dark Knight 1-5, Legends of the Dark Knight 16-20, Legends of the Dark Knight 89-90, Shadow of the Bat Annual 3, Batman and the Monster Men 1-6, Batman and the Mad Monk 1-6, Legends of the Dark Knight 11-15, Legends of the Dark Knight Annual 5, Detective Comics Annual 8, Detective Comics 784-786
Batman Year Two Omnibus:
Batman Annual 19, Legends of the Dark Knight 6-10, Legends of the Dark Knight 21-23, Legends of the Dark Knight 24-26, Legends of the Dark Knight Halloween Special 1, Madness - A Legends of the Dark Knight Halloween Special, Ghosts - A Legends of the Dark Knight Halloween Special, Batman The Long Halloween 1-12, Batman 575-578, Legends of the Dark Knight 71-73, Legends of the Dark Knight 83-84
