- hey y'all, this weeks video consist of the vibrant streets of Shanghai, China, as I navigate them as an expat teen, discovering hidden gems and indulging in delicious cuisine, this video encapsulates the essence of my Shanghai experience.
Feeling a pang of homesickness is natural, especially when you're thousands of miles away from familiar surroundings. I talk a bit about it while embracing the unique culture and energy of Shanghai. From exploring serene parks and lively neighborhoods, every moment is a chance to grow and thrive in this dynamic city.
But what's an adventure without good food? In honor of Cinco de Mayo, I went to find authentic Mexican cuisine in the heart of Shanghai.
Whether you're an expat teen, a travel enthusiast, or simply craving a virtual escape, Don't forget to subscribe for more!
A lot of YT users in the US watching this vid are envious of the life you're living in Shanghai 👌
I think the best way to experience a culture is by making local friends, they will show you something super traditional and authentic whatever food, places and events you have never experienced.
In your lens, China looks very unique, different from what I see in other travel blogger videos about China. You're really great.
agree👍
You have really good eyes to catch interesting scenes! Please keep up the good work.
这个小妹妹跟我生活在同一个城市,感谢你的拍摄并把这个城市展示给外国朋友们。

Your friends will find your channel if you keep doing youtube videos
You have a different view in the videos, a teen view of things, unique.. A viewers advice; the street dance scene, maybe you can use the collage of different shots, but use the sound without cutting from start to finish, and stick on the view.. That would be more flowing, ad your other videos..
希望你认识些上海的朋友
if you dont want to miss out anything in cali, you can stay in cali while your family stay in shanghai.
"Death's End" by Cixin Liu @ 3:40! I finished reading the three body problem trilogy. Loved it!
Is your dad too busy with work? He should brought you to outskirts of Shanghai to explore a bit more far from the city
看你的视频,我以为身处纽约最繁华的地方,当然是干净安全版的纽约

good day
did your sister also living in ShangHai?
If you can't learn mandarin, don't stress it. It's a hard language to learn.
Feeling homesick in (east) LA? Yeah, I would imagine missing all the actions of getting mugged, robbed, business/mall shutdown, massive theft, violence, drugs, down-and-out-in-Beverly Hills, escaped from LA, living in cars and run-down trailers, and most importantly, the filthy filth streets in LA in the Terminator movie scenes.
Dude you dont understand leaving your friends, school, language, everything behind. Its not easy to move to a country where you have to pick up a new language and culture. And a homogenous country where 99% are Chinese (including the minorities).
I would definetely feel homesick too despite being Chinese. Its fine going there for vacation but living there is different. Sure, safety and cleanliness (of the streets atleast, people still spit everywhere and the public bathrooms are a mess) is one of the best, but its not everything.
@@Robin-hv5tv90% han Chinese😊,10% minorities
@@brewingtonnadine Theyre Chinese too thats why I included them
Is LA that bad? I feel beautiful😅
@@brewingtonnadine Racial profiling is purely American culture Don't bring that in China

I have booked a ticket to China. Will I know if I am safe in China in two weeks?
@@hhuenzgq You put your phone in the coffee shop and leave, no one will take it away
why the color so dark?
Because China is Very polluted. 🤡
Can you say some mandarin words
你好,你的学校开学了吗?
You are disconnected from the everyday life in China. It’s not your hometown after. Hey you tried. It’s ok to go back home to live in Cali.
妹妹长得很成熟,在中国人眼里年纪大概在24-28岁这样子。
