Hearing modern day traffic is 😔 when thinking of the importance of these wonderful homes and the role they played in our history. I appreciate your video.
Thank you for watching and your support! I certainly agree, a major part of the problems we debate over in the present could easily be remedied if we as a nation of people were more attentative to our history.
Thank you for posting, their wonderful. A Great Man, far ahead of his time with his visions & intelligence. We are so lucky he & his comrads were all together at the exact time. It's astounding what all those gentlemen did for our great country.
I’m a descendent of the family, it’s so neat to see you tour these grounds. Thank you for your patriotism and knowledge. Hopefully I’ll be able to visit these sites one day. Keep up the great work!
I have Cd's in my car that go over John Adams life in detail. Amazing man. John Quincy too! Both were a head of their times They also were our only Presidents who never owned slaves until after John Tyler
Very well done analysis of one of the true underrated great American founders! Without doubt there would be no United States of America were not for the trio of Washington, Jefferson, and definitely John Adams! He was the voice of independence. When is Lin-Manuel Miranda going to write a play for the great Mr. Adams? Look what he did for the great Alexander Hamilton! Would love to see you play on Mr. Adams life
@@libertyseeker8495 Thank you so much. God bless America, I extend my best well wishes, it always good to see another patriotic American who appreciates our founding.
Imagine, if only those old panes of glass could speak; the history! I wish you could have taken us inside for a good look around. Enjoyed your presentation, well done. Take care...
The addition to Peacefield was purchased by Abigail as a surprise for John. It was his library on 2nd story. She entrusted the construction to their friend Cotton Tuffs.
Currently reading a historical novel by Irving Stone "Those Who Love" about Abigail Smith and John Adams. The novel is set in and describes these homes, so here I am. Thank you so much for the tour and presenting facts.......I was going to ask if you'd read McCullough...and of course you have. I'm now curious to research Sam. He crops up in Stone's novel along with Cotton Tufts, another interesting contemporary of Abigail's father.
I always welcome conversation and input about historical figures! Thank you for sharing. I have not read the Irving novel, so I shall certainly put it on my list! The McCullough Biography is a masterpiece. I have fairly limited historical knowledge on Sam and Tufts- it would be quite interesting to learn more about them! Thank you for input and your support. You have given us an awesome look at the great John Adam’s, ambassador to Europe to ensure that the fledgling new country, America, would be established as our freedom from Great Britain and King George the third!
An example to my architect brother in law that says homes don’t last more then a 100 years.. I beg to differ, here is proof..thank you for sharing this. If you haven’t yet, watch the John Adams mini series..wonderful..Becca M
Very cool! I wonder if the way they stand today is more accurate to their appearance in Adams lifetime. Thank you for sharing and for watching. Subscribe for more content.

Having just watched the John Adams mini-series, thank you for the look at these historic places. An amazing man he was!
It is an excellent mini series! Thank you! Be sure to read David McCulloughs Book "John Adams" an amazing pulitzer prize winner.
Unfortunately, far too many people do not know history , care about history, interested in history, or realize how vital it is to LEARN FROM IT. 😢😢😢😢😢
Thank you for this video. I wish more people realized how much John and Abigail sacrificed for America.

The fact that the ultra- liberal / marxist education system in our Nation is intentionally hiding this information from is is CRIMINAL .

Very impressive homes, modest or majestic.
Not a bad video, but I would loved to have been able to see inside all these properties as well.
At the time of recording it was the summer of 2020, and no interior visitation was permitted. Thank you for your support

When they Constitution was written, John was Ambassador to England.
Correct- he was not present for the drafting of our constitution but vocally supported it publishing a lengthy defense
When I was a kid some 60 years ago the houses were painted bright red with white trim.

What about Gomez and Morticia Adams?
Can't go inside?
It was closed for "COVID-19", this was shot last summer.
John and Abigail treated John Quincy like crap. :-(
