Not correct. 10% tax for LTCG and 15% for STCG. But you say 15% for LTCG and 10% STCG.

In the f. year 2022- 23, I have earned money from equity in addition to my salary and paid tax accordingly . I have submitted return through ITR I , and that has been accepted by the it department . Here Mr. Sourav told that if there is any capital gain, should submit itr II. Mr. Sourav sir, please enlighten the case . Thank you .

You need to file ITR 2.
Transaction in the share market means ,ITR 2 mandatory.

@@biswanathghosh1680 Yes Mr. Ghosh, I just learnt it from Mr Sourav. But I want to say that in the financial year 2022-23, I have submitted it return through itr I , and it was accepted and already processed by it department, though I showed my income from share market .

2.5 Lakh exemption
