Remove tires using Acetone.

I have had a few people ask me how I remove tires from rims to be able to still use the rim, tire and even foams. Hope this video will help you in all your RC fun.

Question. So if I have wheels and tires that are not glued properly and can use this method to reglue properly?

i have a set of wheels/tires the rims are shot but the tires are 80-90% great shape does this method affect the tire or will they be fine

I have been doing it this was for a few months now. The biggest expense with racing is tires . Saving $8 a set of wheels each time adds up .

HPI VTA tires they no loner make them but proline makes them now.

How much acetone should I use in a 5 gallon bucket if I do 4 1/8th scale mt wheels? Thanks and great video. Oh and also have you tried to separate them after one day or 2 days?

I wanna do this cause I wanna keep the tire. My rim broke. And have a extra rim. Does the acetone harm the tire compound in any way?

Its to keep the rims from being submerged ace straight ace tone can eat some rims.
