I saw frank last year. They guy who was supposed to open for him didn't show for some reason so he came out by himself with an acoustic, told some jokes and opened for himself. He's hilarious. He's brilliant.
Indeed. Saw him live too. F-cking amazing, and after the show he stood, as my friends had reported he was want to do, over the audience for like five minutes with his arms outstretched and eyes closed, quietly soaking up all the praise and adoration. I was also told by my BF, who ninja-ed his way into the tour bus post-show to request that Mr. Black please sign a CD for me, which he did, and the kicker is that, according to my friend, FB was playing, get this: Pong! I was like, "Seriously?" and he was all about "Dude, I swear, he was playing f-ucking Pong!" I still wonder if that's true or if my friend was full of sh-t or too drunk that night or what. But yeah, what you said: FB is brilliant.

Quando o cara é bom, é bom mesmo.Ele fez clipes de todas as músicas de seu novo álbum.Não é a toa que escuto som dele desde meus 12 anos de idade.Só para mencionar, hoje estou com 34 anos.
Indeed. But HB, in addition to his daily one gram of meth taken intravenously habit, also frequented a local brothel regularly and was said to have a penchant for tight black rubber.
The song isn't about sex. The "tight black rubber" refers to a strap that a heroin user would use to tie off their arm when shooting up. "Ain't no chippyin' man" refers to "chipping", which is slang term for using heroin moderately. The BLUEFINGER album is about the life and death of artist/musician Herman Brood, who was an addict,
You're right, but there is a sexual element mixed in with the more obvious drug references. HB was into meth taken intravenously (one gram/day) and frequently visited the local brothel on bicycle where he was well-known along with his penchant for kinky shit like tight black rubber. And the thing is, meth users don't usually tie off when injecting. Maybe he did H, too. "Just sayin'".
c'mon, thom yorke is right there on the same plane as chuckles. i'd certainly rather hang out with chuck than that dreary brit, but that doesn't make him any less great as an artist.
I live for this 🤘♥️
Right there w/you, baby!
This whole album is just awesome. That's all there is to it.
Agreed!

Once in a great while, Love happens, as witnessed here.
Damn straight, Nebraskan space-dog!
He looks happy :)
He's the best artist we have, period.
Agreed. Of "The Two Franks" (Zappa and Black), both high-output musical savants who remain under-appreciated despite their brilliance, he's my fave.
FranckBlackFrancis is the best of the best
Tight black rubber= the tube used to tie off your arm when you shoot up your drugs. Charles said so, regarding that the song is about Herman Brood.
Indeed. But HB, in addition to his daily one gram of meth taken intravenously habit, also frequented a local brothel regularly and was said to have a penchant for tight black rubber.
