    Hi, when do we need to measure the OG? Is it right after mixing the fruits, water, sugar, and yeast?

    Hi I am currently making wine out of homemade apple juice it’s been fermenting for seven days I just checked it my specific gravity is 1.080 I see on a lot of wine making kits they say not to rocket until you hit 1.010 Should I be leaving it in my primary fermenter longer or would it be safe to put it into secondary? Any information would be greatly appreciated
