My son was bored in computer class one day back in 2009. He remembered his teacher saying that you could change things on Wikipedia. He found the Wiki page for 2+2=4 and changed it to 2+2=fish and the meme was created. It became a game for him and his class to check the page everyday just to see if it was changed back to the original 2+2=4 and he would continue to change it back to fish every time the original creator changed it back.

The 2000s were my childhood (born 2000) and once you come of age you start to awfully miss the era you were raised in, those days of watchin' Foxtel, startin' up your PS2, navigatin' the block with a razor are sadly over, somethin' Siri or Alexa won't even understand.
You forgot to even mention that life-changing, formidable cinematic magnum opus, "Shrek" and its sequels.

Not even at fact 1 yet, and you already ruined my childhood. RIP Clifford.
I was still just a little kid during the 00's so a lot of this was things that I didn't know had happened. I remember when I was a kid we would sit and play the singstar on the playstation 2. And you're right about Jordanhill trainstation. During 9/11 I was almost 4 so I don't really remember where I was because I was so young but I do remember watching a documentary about it a decade after the fact.
