First TINA trams entered passenger service

Now it's time to get on board - TINA in passenger service
We are celebrating an important milestone for our latest generation of trams. It fills us with pride that the first TINA will now start trial operation on Darmstadt's rail network after successful tests. With significantly more space on board and the large panoramic windows, our low-floor vehicles increase passenger comfort and make public transport even more attractive.

terribly uncomfortable seats. Whose idea was it to use wood?

Actually happy about the wood, hated how filthy the fabric always is and the old ones weren't particularly comfy either.

It's more hygenic than fabric. The old seats often were filthy and because of this even more uncomfortable to sit on

I also thought it was looking uncomfortable until I was able to ride in one of those. It's rather fine.

The bad thing about the wooden seats is that you slide around when it is braking/accelerating
