Cheers mate, it's a great drive. Try align it when it gets a bit wetter if you can so the rivers have a bit more than a trickle will make it even more enjoyable
Cheers for watching mate, was bloody good to finally get back out and looking forward to getting back into more of it. Pt 2 is a great climb out after it rained all night
Top work guys capturing such a epic track, had a blast rolling around the hills and dipping into to the 1000+ river crossing. So much fun, this track I rekon is one of my favs for sure.
Was awesome to be out there with you mate. Thank you for your help capturing some of the footage too. Can't wait to get back out there. Top 5 high country tracks for us I reckon 🍻
Cheers for watching mate, if you can get it after a bit of rain will be more impressive than middle of a dry summer but either way still a great drive. Enjoy
Cheers for watching mate. Absolutely love having the squids up there they have a ball and love getting involved. Teach them the respect for the bush while they are young hey 🍻
Great video. Awesome track. Love water crossings and river bed driving. Very reminiscent of BC, Canada, just different fauna. Look forward to the next part. Production quality has moved up a notch.
Cheers for watching mate. Thank you we are slowly learning each video we make how to do things better. It's a ripper drive constantly in out of the rivers, got any links to the driving in BC?
YEEEE HAAAA !!! What an epic adventure into some wild over grown back country. SOOOO MUCH FUN ! SOOOOO MUCH MAGIC ! Ahhhhhh can’t wait to pack the swags and go chase the Awe Inspiring High Country again soon my bros !! 💚💚💚
Top vid guys done the track a few years ago before the fires bloody amazing keen to have another go wasn’t as much water flowing when we were there though
Cheers mate 🍻 Track conditions were pretty good few spots to have a bit of fun but we nailed the timing with it being wet but not to wet, rivers were at perfect height. Be alot better than doing it peak summer hey when they are just little streams
cool episode ! interesting track with all the river crossings !! TB45 GU Patrol front wheels wearnt spinning up that hill it had to winch / be towed snatched .. maybe forgot to lock the hubs ??
Glad you enjoyed it mate. The passengers side was spinning for some reason it was just that track where it wouldn't engage the drivers side. We thought maybe a hub problem but was fine afterwards
Top vid lads, gives great indication of what to expect. Been wanting to do it for some time but the levels of rain has put me off considering I end up being solo most of the time with these lockdowns. Cant wait to get up there and go deep into the Snowy area too.
Cheers for watching mate, solo would be fine the track its self is pretty straight forward. After really big rains there is just those few deeper ones to keep your eye on. The snowy looks like a cracker and heaps to explore there too and would love to get up there some day for a look around too.
Great trip and fantastic video, guys. Loved your daughter's commentary; she's a little champ, lol. It gives me a valuable insight into a track I'm about to do over Christmas and the new year. Leaving home on Christmas Eve and going in at Mansfield, and hopefully exiting at Tom Groggin over 10 days. The last time we were at Dawson City, the Haunted Stream track was closed (2016). So we are really looking forward to finally having a crack at it. One thing I've noticed in the high country, when they clear trees from the track, why do they only cut a gap that seems mere millimetres wider than the vehicle you're in? How hard would it be to cut the gap so it's at least the same width as the track?
Cheers for watching mate, would love to hear how your trip goes thats a huge bucket list for us to go Buchan to Tom grog. Haunted stream is great fun you will have a ball. Kids loved it in and out of all the rivers. Haha I know right it's especially a tight squeeze in the patrol past alot of trees. Takes no more effort to cut that little bit wider
1st one was actually on the side of the track forgotten name but it was the one you see us come out of at the sign of the t intersection and the second was down on the bottom of Dane’s track
Cheers mate was a great track. Pt 2 is a fun climb out after a night of rain. They are bush barriers bushbarrier.com.au/ Basically like a big fridge magnet for each panel. Work awesome for protecting the panels
This is the first time I watched your clips I am interested in the Y62 patrol and curious as to how you best waterproof your engine being petrol any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you Neil
Cheers for watching mate. The patrols are a good thing. I've never or don't know of anyone with water issues. Even modern diesel engines have so many electronics it's not really how it used to be with the dizzy getting wet on older petrol engines. Only fault code I know of thrown on a patrol from water has been due to the trailer plug. Hope this helps mate
@@4x4brothers thank you so very much for your prompt reply I have subscribed to your site thoroughly enjoyed the haunted stream as I've done that about 7 years ago keep up the great work
@@neilb7325 thanks for the support mate with the sub. Some great tracks out that way. We are looking forward to exploring some more. Enjoy the Christmas break
I heard he were going to grade the track this month not sure how much truth is in it but I've never done haunted stream would like to do before they do. I always mix this track up with crooked river for some reason
Its a great track mate. We have heard grader is going through this month too. To be honest though it still will be a great drive it won't effect to much as its not a hard track. It really don't even need a grader it's in pretty good nic so don't let that put you off if they do. Cheers for watching
Time's has bread softness, Real men roll there swag out on the ground and sleep there, don't worry about Goanna's crawling over, only if the strck there head in, and possum's use it as a trampoline, It only scarce the out of you the first time! Great Vid though, Also what bar is on the Nav 30.00 mark?
