I attended all the Lake Clifton Schools. Clifton Annex on North Avenue....Clifton Park on Harford Road. I use to look out of my classroom window at the construction of Lake Clifton. I went from Clifton Park to Lake Clifton High School; that was the year of 1971I graduated in 1975. Big bush platform shoes and plaid bell bottom pants. The first year was pretty bad, there were a lot of bad apples there starting trouble for everyone. Mrs. Johnson the first Principal did the best she could but those young trouble makers proved to be too much for her. But Then...they called in who I call, the Marine Corps Drill Instructor Of High School Principals! Mr. Boyse Mosley. Remember the movie " Lean On Me " in the movie their Principal's name was Mr. Clark...well Mr. Mosley was our Mr. Clark down to the double T !! He was time enough for the bad apples, They either ended up in jail or got kicked out. I was there when the attempt was made to desegregate Lake Clifton, let's just say the white students came in the front door and went right out the back door, it was total CHAOS !!. But I did get to see how the system provides more for white kids than black kids. There was a computer class many of us wanted to take but could never get to take the class because we were told that the computer's were not available; the minute the white kids arrived man it was like magic, computer's for that class were everywhere. Music was my Major Mrs Lucille Brooks and Mr. Tilman were my music instructors. Mrs. Brooks put me over the first Gospel Choir for Lake Clifton ( I played Piano ); man what great memories. Currently I'm owner of my music production company " Lux Mundi Music Productions" and founder of " The World Music Video Ministry " ...just released , worldwide a new video and single " Give You The Glory " I'm also the host of my own radio show " Word and Worship Radio Show" on the Kingdom Purpose Radio Network. I'm grateful to have been among the first to graduate from that very prestigious High School, it was the largest in the region at that time. But it saddens my heart to see what it has become.
