I wish your mother well. I am sending you a virtual hug. My mom went through a long term illness (almost 2 years, not cured just better). I understand the stress. It is ok to sit down and cry now and then. Yes, dolls helped me -- also crocheting.

Melisa, do you remember The Beatrix Girls? I'm quite into these dolls at the moment and the Fresh Beats kinda remind me of their look, plus they're also musicians! I think it would be cool for you to do a kind of Beatrix retrospective, I'm honestly really hoping that somehow they'll have a reboot someday because I adore them!
I do like all 3 but I think Beigne Au Lei is my Fave!
They are simple but they are still so pretty. They definitely didn’t cut corners in any way! I love the hair. I’m all about the hair 😅♥️

Wow Beigne Au Lei is such a cute doll. I have been to New Orleans which is famous for the beigne (like a donut but so much yummier) They have a very delicious name!

I really appreciate a doll with different pronouns without making it a big deal. Trying to make it a big deal feels like a political grab, but its just an identity which shouldnt be political. Its awesome they made a doll with they/them pronouns without trying to make it a big deal, its just who the doll is :)
