It worked for interstellar because it starts mostly from third act of the movie and as barbell said in the journey there wont be any abrupt intercuts in interstellar but in gaami there are many abrupt intercuts I felt very sad despite their wonderful efforts their choice of screenplay messed up the movie. Hope they make atleast break even for their hardwork and get another oppurtunity for their dedication.

SPOILERS! And this is my opinion. I don't know why everyone is feeling a "lag", I was completely engaged and never felt bored or lag. Emotions also worked well for me. Whatever "lap" shot you didn't like, that was the best shot for me. Their chemistry was good since the beginning, as an audience I was eagerly waiting for them to hug or touch each other; when they finally did I was almost in tears. Chandni was a surprise. Tumbbad guy completely stole the show. I could feel what he was feeling; excellent actor. Abhinaya's dubbing didn't pull me out, she performed so excellently with her facial expressions that my focus wasn't on her lipsync at all. I agree it is not the perfect movie, but the good things are so good, it is a must watch in theater; deserves to be appreciated and shared.
Agreed with all points. The cinematic liberties taken throughout the film are very jarring. However, Gaami is definitely a step in the right direction for TFI. In fact I would include it in a very rare set of telugu films from the last 10 years that show the high quality of cinema we are capable of if we believe. I rarely watch movies in a theatre but idi chusaka I could understand why some of our filmmakers plead with audience to atleast give their films a chance by going to the theatre. First time I could empathise with Vishwak Sen asking people not to sabotage the film release with intentional bad reviews atleast even if they can't support it outright. Glad I saw this in a theatre. Special appreciation for the LED Screen 2 at AAA cinemas. Easily the best theatre screen I've been to. Prasad's PCX is close behind.

5:14 There is nothing reveal about the other movie, COK. Who ever seen that movie they can guess within first hour of the movie. With the type of editing/cuts it becomes very obvious pretty soon in the movie. It's made of the theater experience and viewing, otherwise it's hard to sit through the lag.
