*For anyone who wants a contour shade of lip liner, NYX lip liner in the shade Lavender and Lace is a beautiful shade you can use to overdraw your lips and it will just look like a subtle contour on the lips. It's my secret weapon for big, juicy looking lips!*
After I watched this I ordered the Lypsyl balm from Walmart. It came today and OMG! My lips get really dry due to food allergies and nothing ever works. This is so soothing and perfect, thank you so much for recommending it!

I’m in love with Maybelline Lifter Gloss also their Super stay ink crayon are out of bounds. Pixi Collagen Lip Gloss is amazing as well as their Endless Shade Stick. Dear Gussie! Thank you for showing me that drugstore makeup can be gorgeous too! ❤️ Great video
Ive had perioral dermatitis with every pregnancy. Steroids made it worse. Topical antibiotics take time but it did slowly help. Most people don't know you should put nothing on it except the medication. No cleanser, no moisturiser, no makeup, no sunscreen, no sun. This made the difference of a bright red goatee and just a small rash for me. Hope this helps x
Hi @@lindawright3490! I tried a more appropriate toothpaste too, but because it is caused by the pregnancy hormones (not the toothpaste), it didn't make a difference unfortunately :(
I know you're having trouble with your skin but I must say you are looking so radiant and pretty and the pregnancy fullness coming to your face just enhances your overall beautiful glow! I purchased two of the Maybelline Lifter Glosses in Topaz and Moon after watching another one of your recent videos and I really love them. Great recommendation! I also have a couple of those ELF multisticks and they are great as well.
OMG YES! I don’t ever hear people talk about Lypsyl in the US! It’s best lip treatment out there. It’s a shame that it’s so difficult to find in the US. BTW congrats on your pregnancy! So excited for your family. ❤️
I love the elf brow wow, l'oreal brilliant liquid eyeshadow, and maybelline lifter glosses. Holy cow do those glosses work so well. They also leave my lips hydrated after wearing them. Is it just me??? And they aren't sticky. Agree about the mint. But not strong scent. Love you woman 💗🙏. Keep bringing new ideas, especially drugstore friendly.
Loved this video. I remember a while back, you apologized in a video that you focused so much on high-end products and were going to attempt to showcase more drugstore items on your channel. Over the past year, I really think you’ve been killing it with your drugstore recommendations!! I always thought the Milani Keep it Full glosses were an identical dupe for the Fenty Gloss Bombs, but I too must agree that the Lifter glosses are an even closer dupe!! I have 4 of the colors and can’t wait to wear them out of the house..someday! 😢 I have repurchased the Equate Oil Free Makeup Remover over the high-end options for years (I know it’s not makeup... but it’s just as good and way cheaper!) The Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara is my most repurchased mascara of all time. AND it’s the only waterproof mascara that I will/can wear. Lastly (I could go on forever) the L’Oréal Lumi Shake & Glow Dew Mist is my favorite dewy, hydrating facial spray. I’ve never used the Tatcha Dewy Mist but I’ve heard it’s verrry dewy/maybe too dewy. The L’Oréal is just dewy/glowy enough, smells wonderful, and has the most soft, non-aggressive spray of any facial spray I’ve tried. Hope these ideas weren’t old news and thank you again for this awesome video!! 🤗 PS: You look gorgeous!!
I love when I watch a video of yours and I have just about everything you mention because of previous videos I've watched. I love the Physicians Formula foundation and those L'oreal liquid eyeshadows!
I just got Maybelline Lifter gloss in Petal a few days ago & love the way it feels and the color. Another Maybelline product I love is the Falsies Lash Lift waterproof mascara. It gives me lots of volume and lasts great. It does require waterproof makeup remover to clean off, but the effort is worthwhile for me.
You look so beautiful! I like the background, clean and not "busy." Love your videos especially ones like this with comparisons. I use that Elf Wow Brow with the wand but also with a little brush & works perfectly. Also thank you for always putting the product info & links in your video description.
I absolutely Love Elf blush stick!! They go on like butter! Also the glow sticks by L’Oréal, thanks for the mixing tip. You look wonderful, definitely glowing. 🙂
I've got to check out the Elf cheek tints, Maybelline lip glosses, and Loreal eye products. I love the Neutrogena Hydro Boost so that's not changing. My skin is dry right now so I'm mixing it with my moisturizer and it's perfect. I'm currently using the Nxy lip pencil but once it's getting low I'll check out the Revlon. You look great!! I broke out all over like I was a teenager again. Every time! Lol Three times to be exact. Lol Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm going to be shopping soon. ❤
everytime I watched at your channel, it gives me the nostalgic feeling 😅 your makeup looks 90's and early 2k's ❤🇵🇭 as of now I love powder foundations than liquids, thanks to your tutorials 😘
Shelby I thought that was Perioral Dermatitis when I first saw it but I didn’t want to say anything in fear it would come across rude. I had it after an aggressive facial once and my doctor told me to use steroid cream which I later found out is the worst possible thing you can do. When I finally went to see a Dermatologist for it she prescribed a sulphacetimide/sulphur ointment mixed with a gentle moisturizer which helped a ton! I couldn’t do the strong antibiotics they typically prescribed because I was nursing at the time. I hope you get some relief now you have an accurate diagnosis ❤️❤️❤️
I love a lip balm recommended by Amanda Z, it's called Nuxe. I recently moved to europe from southern california and the cold weather here kills my lips. Nuxe is the only lip balm that truly makes me wake up with hydrated lips.
Thank you for the tip about the L’Oréal liquid shadows! I have both of those shades based on your recommendation and also picked up the shade Crystal Shine, which is a more champagne-y golden undertone than diamond drop. I mixed that one with bronze light and it was stunning! Highly recommend trying that shade too 😍
Cannot wait for Australia to stock the new maybelline glosses. You have completely changed how I do my makeup and I love it! Also I thought I was the only one that didn’t like Armani luminous silk. It does the same thing to my skin.. it just doesn’t last.
I love the Maybelline Lifter glosses and any lip product from the Joah brand sold exclusively at CVS. The colors and formulas are awesome. I'll be trying the Physician's Formula Elixir Foundation and the Elf Blush Sticks. Stay safe!
When I came off the contraceptive pill I got Perioral Dermatitis. After various prescription, the only thing that worked was Azelaic Acid 20% prescription & hydrating products. I also stopped using toothpaste with SLS in. I already didn’t use it in my cleansers & shampoo. So it made sense.
Been using Revlon lip liners for years. I like it because they are not so creamy and that's why they stay on forever even if you use creamy lipsticks or gloss!
I was just also diagnosed with perioral dermatitis. The bumps that never went away no matter what I did had me fed up so I finally went to a derm. Starting using a topical ointment and pairing down my skincare routine. Also just removed dairy to see if that is the culprit.
Hope you're feeling great and you look gorgeous as always! I had pregnancy-induced perioral dermatitis as well and my number one solution was cutting sugar, gluten and drinking celery juice first thing in the morning. So hard when pregnant and craving nothing but sugar and bread but absolutely worth it
Oh I've had Perioral Dermatitis on and off the last couple years. Not sure what triggers it for me (I'm not/haven't been pregnant) but it def sucks. I second the person who recommended Dr. Dray's channel. I took her advice and paired back my skincare routine to very minimal products and incorporated some Vanicream products that really help me when it flares up. I love their Zinc bar soap (not sure if it's safe to use while pregnant) but that helped clear up the redness for me and their gentle cleanser/moisturizer did not irritate or exacerbate it!
another dupe that I reach for more than (expensive) name brand is my elf ultra precise brow pencil! its EXACTLY like my precisely, my brow pencil by benefit! the packaging of the benefit is super cute but the elf pencil is so perfectly the same you can't beat the price ($27 vs $6!) lol
Every time... I’m waving 👋🏼 at the end! Haha! The Wow Brow I haven’t found in my color, but I am looking! I’ve seen the lip balm at our local Walgreens!! I know you love them! Love the set-up!! Hope all is well!! 🤰🏻
MAYBELLINE lip lifter is my new favorite lip gloss.I love the Physicians formula silk elixer foundation and Nuetragena gel hydro boost, both on you recommendation. I will try any drug store cream product you recommend. The L'Oreal eyeshadow are now on my list!
In addition to Elf wow brow, essence has a very affordable brow gel and one of my favorites are the Colourpop brow boss gels and pencils, they make a great combo. Colourpop brow boss pencil in ash brown seems to be a great dupe for ABH medium brown
I'm sorry about the perioral dermatitis diagnosis. I also have it. I tried many things over many years. I hate giving unsolicited advice, but I'd be remiss if I didn't mention what worked for me (and many other PD people swear by it). Azelaic acid is like the silver bullet for PD. It can take a little while to start working, and it'll probably get worse before it gets better (as is the case with most actives). If you try it, just stick with it. I haven't had a single PD flare since I started it. The Ordinary has a great one.
Maybelline Matte & Poreless Foundation beats Dior Face and Body in my book. I've purchased so many high-end foundations!! But the Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless just looks so natural, not to dry despite the name and the coverage is buildable. I also love the Lifter Glosses and agree with you on the CT lip cheats. I will give the Revlon a try. I wear Marc Jacobs because the lip liners are creamy and easy to apply as they "twist" down -- no sharpener required. They last about as long as CT, but I have never used Revlon! Great video :)
Hi Shelby, I have had recurring bouts of perioral dermatitis, its the worst and can be painful. Vanicream cleanser was recommended by my dermatologist and works well. Also for me essential oils, alcohol, fragrance, chemical sunscreen, and SLS are huge triggers where I will wind up breaking out by the end of the day of using any of them. Also what truly helps me is doxycycline and something called emuaid ( found on amazon). Oh yeah, don't ever use a steroid based cream, ( hydrocortisone) it creates a big rebound that is even worse and harder to get rid of. Hope it clears up soon and any of my tips help. Love your style and videos. ❤
I have that shade of the ELF multistick and loved it - at first, then looked at it outside and it has glitter! Not a look I'm going for and upsetting since it is so lovely. I used a sponge to blend it, will try a brush to apply and blend to see if that affects/tones down the sparkle.
Great recommendations. I really want to try the physicians formula foundation but the first ingredient is orange flower water and anything citrus related causes my rosacea to flare up. My current go to coverage is the cetaphil redness relief day cream mixed with a couple drops of the no 7 foundation drops. I love the idea of mixing the loreal liquid eyeshadows and am definitely going to try that with my stila shimmer and glows that are too deep for everyday wear.
First, congrats on the baby-you are surely looking beautiful and that is a lucky baby to have such a sweet momma! Addicted to Lifter Glosses (Stone, Ruby, Topaz, Moon are favorites) and Brilliant Eye shadows-even on my 60ish medium tones face!
Rochele Laccetti Harrison -- I'm 65 and just purchased the lifter glosses in Topaz and Moon; love them! I'm also curious to try the Brilliant Eye shadows and see how the work on my aging hooded eyes.
Darn perioral dermatitis. Good old hormone changes during pregnancy. I had it with my first pregnancy really bad and I never had it again with any of my other pregnancies. I’m pregnant with baby number 6 right now. So hopefully you won’t have to deal with it again. Nice recommendations! Loved your picks.
Thanks for all your recommendations, I always love these videos when u make them, because u have never steered me wrong. I never thought about mixing the L’Oreal cream eye shadows, we’ll do that, thanks so much.😊
Hello, first here :) love yah Shelby ... Thank you for showing us the affordable or drugstore version of high-end products, this is a big help! I also have the same problem, I find it hard to find a foundation that would stay on my dehydrated dry skin type. :(
Love Amanda Z! 🥰 P.S. Try lip liners from Kokie. Soo good quality and affordable. Creamy but not slippy. Once they dry down they DO...NOT...MOVE!👄 Also their liquid eyeshadows are stunnning and nobody’s talking about them. 😘😘
Oh Shelbey, my babies are 3 and 4 and I still feel behind in my world... starting to wonder if I’ll ever feel “caught up” 😝💕 sending health and happiness 🌸
I ordered a few Colour Pop lip liners online ... hard to get in Canada. I would use those over any other brand. Absolutely love them. Creamy formula and lasts all day. Wish I had ordered more colours.
Lypsyl for the win 🙌 I will never use another balm I absolutely swear by it, it does its job and it does it well. I know Walgreens used to carry it but lately I can only find it al Walmart.
Setting is perfect 👌 great video idea love it ...not all of us can afford or indeed can get to the big dept Stores with lockdowns still going on in some places ....,..but we can get to our local pharmacies...going to try out some of these products for sure ..
Love these shoes I’m using gloss bomb dupes by maybeline and while it’s more affordable I think I’ll go back to fenty for this product. the packaging is way more sustainable than maybeline so I think it’s worth the price
I got a sample of the Luminous silk, and then bought a bottle of that PF elixer. Been saving the Armani, but have worn the PF a couple of times. Looks & feels beautiful, but not wearing as long as I'm used to. Dewey is new to me and I'm wondering if they're all going to be like that? Thinking I'm going to need to be mixing them with my Loreal infallible matte? Did one today & it did help .
This is very helpful for me as I only use drugstore makeup. The Brilliant Eyes are my favorite... I use mine all the time. They are so easy to apply and stay on all day. Oh, how I miss wearing glosses! I wear a mask all day, every day at work and glosses and masks don't work... I found that out the hard way.🙄 Hope you're feeling well... you look radiant!😍
Omg its awful all my lip glosses are a waste now, I cant not put it on but my masks have a permanent kiss mark on them now and its just awful I miss showing my lips off
@@Alylonglegs Me too!! I take my mask off and it looks like a war zone of lip gloss, foundation and blush. But I can't help myself. 😳 I just feel weird leaving the house without something on my dang lips!💋
I got the ELF wow brow after looking for a dupe for the boy brow that I think is vastly overpriced. I used to love high end make up but got fed up with spending so much on products and then not using them anyway! I use the elf wow brow all the time and it's got me into elf as a brand. I like that the brand is cruelty free too. I have had my eye on the multi chromatic sticks so I will try one. The drug store Boots in the UK are currently doing buy 3 products and get the cheapest free so another wow brow and something else?!? I was thinking about getting a new illuminating concealer, I have an ancient YSL touche eclat I started to use after watching a Wayne Goss video on concealer use so...
After seeing you use the Elf Wow Brian, I went and purchased. I am obsessed! Love it....stays on, makes my eyebrows look even better. Also purchased two of the Lifter glosses. I think they are better than the Fenty, which I found a little sticky. The SuperHydrate Squalene face cream by 3lf is a dupe for Biossance. Only thing that gets rid of the dry skin for me in fall/winter. Love the eyeshadow, such a pretty look. The new spot is nice e for filming. Will your office be the nursery now? .
Oh, and I also wanted to recommend Dr Dray on UA-cam. She has a video about that condition. For additional info and products. In fact, I think she gets it, too.
I got PeriOral dermatitis four years ago after a very stressful year. I have pictures of my face and chest that I look at every so often and I’m still shocked. Unfortunately when I went to the doctor, she told me to put Cortaid on it. Big mistake. I switched to all sulfate free cleansers and shampoos, and it took four long months to subside, but it did not go away completely for about a year. Unfortunately, it came back again a couple of years later and again it took months and months to go away. The best way is to go make up free and switch to sulfate free cleansers. Good luck. I don’t know how bad your case is but I’m hoping it’s mild

I never see the sparkle on my face but I do see it in the tube!
Great recommendations. I really want to try the physicians formula foundation but the first ingredient is orange flower water and anything citrus related causes my rosacea to flare up.
My current go to coverage is the cetaphil redness relief day cream mixed with a couple drops of the no 7 foundation drops.
I love the idea of mixing the loreal liquid eyeshadows and am definitely going to try that with my stila shimmer and glows that are too deep for everyday wear.
yahoo. thank you for saving ou money. all those things looked beautiful. thank you!!!
Any time! Thank you!
THANK YOU i have been so frustrated trying to find a lip balm that doesnt leave my lips more dry than before when it wears off.
I just got that maybelline lip gloss. I love it!
The PF silk foundation is a dream!
Love Amanda Z! 🥰
P.S. Try lip liners from Kokie. Soo good quality and affordable. Creamy but not slippy. Once they dry down they DO...NOT...MOVE!👄
Also their liquid eyeshadows are stunnning and nobody’s talking about them.
😘😘
I LOVE the Maybelline Lifter Gloss!!
Oh Shelbey, my babies are 3 and 4 and I still feel behind in my world... starting to wonder if I’ll ever feel “caught up” 😝💕 sending health and happiness 🌸
you remind me of Rosamund Pike, so stunning!!
I ordered a few Colour Pop lip liners online ... hard to get in Canada. I would use those over any other brand. Absolutely love them. Creamy formula and lasts all day. Wish I had ordered more colours.
Such great tips, thank you-you’re the best dupes sleuth! ❤️
Oh thank you!
The filming space and lighting is great 🤗
I love the Maybeliine glosses so much. I have 4 different shades now.
Lypsyl for the win 🙌 I will never use another balm I absolutely swear by it, it does its job and it does it well. I know Walgreens used to carry it but lately I can only find it al Walmart.
Amen! I can't find it at most Walgreens anymore :(
Some great picks. I'm going to have to try some of these. They look really nice Thanks
Setting is perfect 👌 great video idea love it ...not all of us can afford or indeed can get to the big dept Stores with lockdowns still going on in some places ....,..but we can get to our local pharmacies...going to try out some of these products for sure ..
Understandable! Thanks for watching!
Thrilled to hear about the PF silk elixir!!!!! Can't wait to try it!
Love this video! You are beautiful 💕💕
You are "Glowing" hope you are feeling well with pregnancy 🧁🌺
Haha! You said it's the L'oreal lifter glosses at 3:36 but it's Maybelline.
I’m loving your nail polish color....may I ask what that is? 💅🏻
I picked up the the L’Oréal brilliant eyes in bronze light after you used it in one of your tutorials :)
Wonderful! Hope you like it!
As a swede if find it funny that you buy a swedish lipbalm and I buy an american one (carmex) 😁
Can you make a video on how to keep make-up in place while wearing PPE/face mask?
I just bought like 4 of the Maybelline glosses.
LOL!
Have you tried the Rose Gem color from L'oreal Brilliant Eyes? It's a nice rose gold color.
Thank you! ❤️❤️
This makeup look is beautiful. Please do a tutorial. 💞
Hahahah it was a tutorial-ish
After seeing you use the Elf Wow Brian, I went and purchased. I am obsessed! Love it....stays on, makes my eyebrows look even better. Also purchased two of the Lifter glosses. I think they are better than the Fenty, which I found a little sticky. The SuperHydrate Squalene face cream by 3lf is a dupe for Biossance. Only thing that gets rid of the dry skin for me in fall/winter. Love the eyeshadow, such a pretty look. The new spot is nice e for filming. Will your office be the nursery now? .
Yes my office is the nursery. We have a 3rd room we use as a guest room that I may convert into my office eventually.
Oh, and I also wanted to recommend Dr Dray on UA-cam. She has a video about that condition. For additional info and products. In fact, I think she gets it, too.
I love Dr. Dray!
Could you do the makeup you had on in the Amanda Z video? Love it!
lovely ✨⭐️💕
Love your recommendations, thanks!
After my last pregnancy, I got the shingles! In my 30s! Boy was that a nightmare
I'm so happy for this video, I've been waiting all day for you girl 😉 love you Shelbey ♥️
❤️❤️❤️❤️
The set up is perfect 👌
🥰 thanks for the feedback!
Can you do a video on skincare for perioral dermatitis? Currently dealing with this!
