I was 14 when this came out, and it was a monster 👹 smash that summer in 1966. I played it 3 times in a row this morning, and it is a part of my regular playlist. I can only think of my school days, and how care-free I was then. Bobby and the Rhythm Aces were a big part of my teenage experience. All the dances at school, and at friends homes.
I had my first crush on this beautiful girl in my 8th grade class, but it was unrequited. But I was young, and live would come later. I remember how I never went anywhere without my transistor radio listening to my favorite tunes. What a super time. I'll treasure this time forever, and I can only 😊 😁 smile and reminisce.
