Okay thats it, i will start saving money for an U.S. trip! Wow, this must be the mother of all trails! Nine hours nothing but roots and stones in a beautiful scenery...holy moly! Extremely great stuff Brian!
It was the grand daddy of em all!!
What a fantastic looking area to ride, fair play to you both! 9 hours in the saddle is no joke.
Thanks dude, hard earned!
...9 hrs...respect!..
Pedaling forever!
From what I've seen, you picked a perfect riding partner for a brutal epic ride! What a finish, and Aaron was still smiling. The Man!
Most definitely a great partner in crime
I've been watching a bunch of UA-cam channels for more then an year now and that has to be the best trail I've ever seen. Really reminds me of the stuff here in Bulgaria - rough, backcountry awesomeness
Thanks a ton Pavel!
Dude ur videos r so uplifting and that’s why ur one of the youtubers I always spread around, u shred like there’s no tmrw and u just have a great time, I just hope one day I can be in ur shoes
That's great, so glad to hear that!
This vid takes me back to one of the original reasons I subbed to you so long ago... The SOUND of the tires on the trail! So crisp! 🤘I'm lovin' it! 〽️🍟
That's awesome, love hearing that!
It's a cyclopaths fudging adventure that's what this is. Fudging wheel bending, wheel crushing jank heaven truly. This has made my top 5 trails of you riding for sure. Thanks for letting me live out my MTB dream rides through you for the time being. You guys ride that like a boss. Would be nice to see an eduro race in these trails. Arron has major balls riding the rest of the trail on his rim basically.
A race on that would be pretty crazy!!
Geeze, that trail blew off your shorts, tires, tubes and all your food and water stores! Outstanding looooong ride Brian
Hahaha yes!!
Without a doubt the most epic ride I've ever seen. What a journey. It's seriously beautiful out there.
Glad to here that dude!
Haven’t watched your videos for awhile and it’s super cool to see how much your descending skills have improved, so much progress from when you still had your thumbs on top of the bar
Thanks Dude!!
Man that was such an amazing ride! The different terrain you saw in one day was like riding in 7 different states. btw i only own a mtb because of you keep up the good work
It really did cross through so many amazing places! Happy to bring it to you
Incredible ride. Laughed when that tube popped out. Good stuff as usual Brian. Thanks.
Haha yeah that was too good
Dude you 2 are beasts. That was an absolute brutal ride and I was just watching. I dont know how you did it, nothing but mad props to you both.
Thanks man, it was a battle!
Wowie! What an epic. Having watched both of your vids I'm so impressed. I love the back country rides and that was the king! Well done.
It really was the best backcountry ride ever!
Epic backcountry rides are my endgame. Your adventure here helped me be sure of it.
Old school mountain biking, uphill, downhill, xc, walking, dabbling, riding on the rims. Something for everyone, very cool.
Thanks Don!
Wow!! That's gotta be one of the best trails you've put on scene man! Loved it.
Thanks Juan, it was a blast!
Possibly the best MTB ride vid I've ever seen and I've seen a lot over many years of riding. Put's all the those lifestyle marketing type 'extreme' vids to shame. 100 out of 10 perfect
Oh hell yes! Thanks so much
WOW... 9 hour ride... thats f-ing impressive dude!!!! And the trails was sick.... thanks for letting us see this!!
Glad you enjoyed it Kent!
Hey Brian, been watching your videos for quite a while now and just wanted to say you're an inspiration to me. I had only been mountain biking a few times before finding your channel and I never owned my own bike to go riding on so I had to use a friends. But I'm glad to say I now have my own bike and I can't wait to ride it out on the trails! Hopefully gonna hit a few spots highlighted in your videos. Maybe I will see you on the trail. Cheers!
LOVE hearing that. Thanks for letting me know I'm making an impact.
This is what you did my bachelor party weekend. Awesome for sure!
NICE!!
Absolutely incredible. Thanks, Brian.
Thank YOU Chad!
That was AWSOME!!!!!
You truly inspire me. Thanks for sharing that epic ride.
Thanks Bret!!
Amazing! My wife thinks I don't my limits, but I know that is far beyond them. So cool for you to show us though, thanks Brian!
Always gotta push a little further to know what you're made of! Thank YOU Ben
I can't believe the wheels and tires are staying intact after some of those rough areas . Love your videos 👍
Hahaha spoke too soon indeed!
Still can't believe how beautiful that place is.
Amazing stuff around every turn!
Mega ride! Need to hit this up one day.
Get some!!
What an awesome looking mountain bike Adventure. I am jealous.
Thanks Jon!
Your riding has gotten so strong over the past few months. Keep riding hard and taking the A lines
So glad it's working!!
So much respect to you Brian. That was an epic ride. 9 hours in saddle and hand pumps is no joke. Definitely one of the best rides I've ever seen. Amazing job man! 👍🏻👍🏻😁
Thanks Donnie!!
That was a day-full! 9 hours in the saddle, yewww! Great video
LONGGGGG and hard!
Damn, only 30 miles in 9 hours. That's insane and speaks to the gnar and elevation you must have done on that bad boy. Congrats!
Tons and tons of fighting for every inch!
Love your videos. So much so, I've got a new bike and can't wait to go riding this weekend. All the best
Hell yes!!
dude you guys are monsters for that ride.... super inspiring!
Thanks Brian!!
Couldn't take my eyes off the screen, great video man!
Thanks Stefan, it was a blast!
A little fudge and a little baby butter. So cool!
Hahah indeed
Damn that was an ADVENTURE!! Good stuff BKXC!!
Hell yeah! Glad you liked it Alfredo
This vid was simply amazing - wow, what a nature and what a physical exercise! My deep respect, that was an amazing tour!
Much respect. That was outstanding! I was out of breath just watching y'all!!! May even be stiff and sore tomorrow, lmao. Great video.
Haha, I slept 12 hours and felt good!
That ride was filled with damn-near everything. I would love a ride of that length where you're not looping back onto other trails over and over. Cool views, too.
Yeah, pretty amazing to get all that singletrack in one shot!
Looks like I may have increased the use of the word "fudge". LOL
MTBing Adventures true story 😂🤙
Haha I love it!
Simply stunning Brian, those trails are the real deal for sure, a true back country epic💥 I'll be in Truckee/ Tahoe area in 10 days time ( all the way from the UK) I already had a list of must ride trails, Mills, Mt Hough some of the lesser know Truckee/ Tahoe stuff but this is now at the top🙏 Thanks for doing what you do oh so very well!
NICE, bring your legs, lungs and a water filter
9 hours wow. That looked amazing.
Felt pretty good too!
Wow dude- that defines epic. Nicely done.
Hell yes!!
The views are spectacular...great video!
Thanks Scott!
Great video man, I've really been loving your videos recently :) Keep it up!
Thanks!!
That descent is burly! Grouse is not for the weak!
Trail Peek well maybe trail weaks
Just a battle the whole way and we somehow won.
Wow what a ride. Will travel from the uk to ride this trail, great video as always brain.
Oh baby, let me know how it goes!
Literally Epic Brian! Nice riding man!
Thanks dude!
10:15 I bet that there is not enough air in that tubed tyre, providing high chance of a full day hike :-)
Such commont occurance with riders that use low pressures-once they put a tube in, they don't put nowhere near enough pessure
Man, I had that thing rock hard!
Dude...some of your best footage to date... incredible scenery and the riding was rediculous...you have impressed me with that ride...keep it up!
Thanks for that, glad you're digging it!
Epic ride! Great job BKXC!
Thanks Jon!!
DOUBLE SANDWICH RIDE! NICE!!!!
Hahah yep
Wow, what a trail ride!
Big time!!
Damn son, that was a seriously impressive mega-ride!!! Your smile at the end says it all...priceless. 👍😊
Haha, the brutal smile!
Just a wee ride out then Brian! Awesome stuff thanks for sharing
Reminds me of a trail in Kisatchie National Forest, Louisiana. Not as much in the way of elevation, but the undulating terrain in the pines is very similar. Great Vid, thanks!!
Oh wow, very cool!
That is a true epic and well deserved "Long Live Long Rides"!!!
Love that Sid!!
So crazy man, much, much respect. I would really want to go there.
Thanks Kelvin! Good to see you again!
@@bkxc thanks man, trying to catch up!
Absolutely amazing !
Thanks bud!!
This game you are playing has truly amazing graphics.
If you have to change a tube, might as well take tube patching foam that fills it up through the valve core, and works as short-term sealant.
Haha yep, it's a great game! Yeah, good call on some kind of foam like that
Im watching this in January just dreaming about going back! ugh, i must of ridden there 6 or 7 times last season.
Huge day of riding; Props!
Thanks Mike!
Awesome trail wow!. That tube fail though, I was looking to buy one of those. Think I’ll just stick with the extra bulk spare tube option...
... and a few patches! ;-D
those things you can´t repair it...Best thing is classic tube, patches and tire plugs.I even carry a glue&rubber to fix tire cuts or holes. Working as MTB trail guide I always carry 100 things, last time one guy manage to loose his brake pads in the middle of nowhere, thanks we meet another group of riders and one of them carry those specific pads. Since that,I add 4 more types of pads to the guide kit, just in case hahahaha.
That's awesome info Jose!
shiiiiiiiiiiiitttttttttttttttttttttttttt man i saw you post this on strava but watching the videos was something else... cant wait til my new wheels come so i can start riding again... keep it up dude been watching you since you had like 5k subs
Haha glad that you're still here watching and diggin what I'm doing!!
Total respect for being on the bike for so long
Man, I couldn't believe it when I saw the time!
That really really amazing ! And what a trails dude so sick
So damn good, glad you liked it!
BKXC oh yeah i love it !
Epic Adventure!!! My friend and I try and do at least 1 ride like this a year. It's easy when you live in Utah! Nice video Brah!
That's so cool! Thanks Lee
Wow, what an adventure !
Thanks bud!
A true MTB adventure. Wow.
Big time!!
Freakin 9 hrs!! 32miles! Haha that’s awesome
Hahaha yep, too legit to quit
At 9:30 I was looking up 'tubolito' and how I can order some. By the end of this video I said to myself 'screw it, I don't want one!' Great video, as usual. I can't believe you guys were riding for that many hours!! That's definitely not for rookies.
HAhaha yep! Thanks
Great video Brian 👍 that guy was crazy 😂 trying to catch up on all the videos I've missed.
Hey Brian, how much and what kind of food did you have to eat to keep your energy up for this epic all day ride? I find if I go on a 7 hour ride I pack like 5 lbs of bars & gels trying to get down 60g of carbs an hour. Haha.
I had about 4 nature valley bars and a bag of Pala Snacks Biltong. I would have brought one bar for every hour of riding if I did it again.
Wow, I would have bonked with that little amount of food on a ride of that length and amount of climbing 😂 Kudos to you!
Schweeeet save! I’m getting arm pump just looking at this!
Haha yep, it'll put the hurt on ya!
Stunning place & ride well done 👍 missed part 1 going to catch up now 😘🏴
Go get it!!
I just did a 7 hour ride in Tahoe. Longest for me... but no where near the jank as Grouse. Fudge yeah! That trail is heroic.
Haha awesome!!
What a journey! 👍🥇
Thakns!!
I'm in love with this trails! Awesome video man :D
Hell yes!
Wow dude, so epic! Beast mode!!
Thanks KeZ!! It was a blast
Damn man that was one hell of an adventure! You guys were in survival mode for surest the end!! Great riding
HAhaha we really were
This is the only video of yours where you haven't done your famous sign-off. That's when you know it's been a good ride.
Hahahah yep
Looks sick! I go down to the Tahoe area once a year, looks like a bucket list trail to me once I become as fit as you. 😂Great video.
Definitely worth it once you get them legs and lungs performing!
The scenery dude amazing 👍🏽👍🏽🌲🌲🌳🌳🌳⛰⛰⛰⛰⛰
It was a joy!
Gorgeous scenery! It makes me wish I was out riding too! Only problem is that’s also a forest fire waiting to happen. With all those dead logs, and underbrush and grass, the whole place could go up in flames with one good lightning storm, or a careless/drunk camper.
Definitely some vulernable wilderness!
that trail is loco!
Mucho loco!!!
Holy Sh*T what a ride! the stoke is real!
Big time!!
I was thinking of that Sawyer inline filter for $20. Can use the same way you were using it as well. Another epic ride necessity.
Oh wow, very cool
Been there done that. Each time I rode the trail it was a kick in the ass. Lass time we shuttled to top of the fire lookout and had the intention of riding into Nevada City. One of the less experience riders crashed and bent his rotor. We only made it to Omega Overlook. U should try that route.
Oh man! Definitely need to get back out for a different route. Do you mind emailing me any info you have bk@bkxc.bike?
Big set a balls! Awesome ride!
Thanks Andrew!!
I needed an IV to make it through this vid. Brian you are a beast!
Hahahaha love it
Epic XC ride👍
Hell yes!!
On trail wheel bike true for the win! So rad!!!
You know it!!
Fudging Hell what a ride, man!!
Haha thanks Nick
I really like that type of trails, they're techy but not in the usual "jump, jump, drop, berm" type. Also, there's proper adventure involved.
Yes! Tons of adventure
That's one hell of a ride right there!
Got my big boy pants on!!
I would have been resetting every 5 feet! That looked crazy hard dude!
Hahah yep!
Your endurance must be phenomenal
Definitely surprised myself!
Amazing trail! What an adventure!
