    my J7 plus is not showing obstacles in the app after a run, in the area that they should appear it says "something went wrong" I have rebooted several times as well as doing 3 factory resets to no avail, any ideas?

      Hmmmm it could be a iRobot server issue. Not sure how long the problem been going on, but you can wait a day or so to see if the problem persists. Also you can try uninstalling the app and reinstalling. Lastly in the Map section there a tab which allows you to reset the camera obstacles.

      Resetting the camera did the trick, thank you for that information I did not even know that option was there. I have had my J7 plus for about three weeks and had become very frustrated Because I was not receiving the review photos. Your information has saved me a great deal of frustration, it’s silly to say but when I received my first photo this morning I was like a small child at Christmas time. Thanks again.

      @@AJeepADroneAndAnOldMan Sure, I can agree some of the technology they implement is pretty cool. I personally liked the ability to tell the robot to clean a specific room via voice using Alexa. My Wife who isn’t very tech savvy definitely uses this feature everyday. One less thing off the honey to do list 😁

    Can you do a video showing the Dyson 360 Hyperdymium quirks you know so far? Also, there is a Honiture Q6 Pro, which looks like the Arnager and Neabot N2. There is even a Dyson V12 slim in other regions, which is a smaller version of the V15.

    Quick question, I'm looking to get 2 robots and would like your recommendation. 1 robot will be uses for my main floor which consists of vinyl plank flooring and tiles so mopping and vacuuming would be great. 2nd robot would be for carpet which is kinda thick.

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  2 роки тому

      So for the hardwood floors the Roborock S4, thicker floors either a Roomba or the 360 S6

    Hey Nate. I have the Roomba i7+ right now. Getting the Roomba s9+ to replace my garbage Samsung POWERbot Turbo. But what do you think? Get another Roomba i7+ or get the s9+? The s9+ would be on a carpeted floor in my dark basement. I'd have to set up an automation with my smart lights to turn on when it starts. The i7+ is on entirely hard wood floors besides some rugs.

      The S9+ would be better for carpet cleaning since it more powerful. I would map the floor plan with the lights on. After you have a complete saved map than you can turn the lights off. The robot will rely on its other sensors to navigate the dark area.

    It’s an annoyance that you can’t just say “alexa clean the kitchen” etc

      @@RobotMasters You can, say "Alexa, ask roomba to clean kitchen" Alternately you could set up a routine for when you say "alexa, clean the kitchen" then add action custom, where you would type what you want alexa to understand "alexa, ask roomba to clean kitchen" you're done

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters  2 роки тому +1

      @Phil Dundas Thanks for the information, I am going to have to try the custom action and label it appropriately.
      Thanks, I just tried it and it works!!! Now I can say Alexa Clean Kitchen. I will make an updated video!!!
