- S. Raghuraman was born and raised in an orthodox Brahmin family. Due to severe bronchial asthma, he used to sleep sitting up for three and a half years, which made him restless. During this time, he started hearing a voice that spoke a Bible verse: Matthew 11:28. The moment he read the verse from the Bible, he was captivated. That night, for the first time in three and a half years, he slept soundly on his back. The following day, when he woke up, he was confused by what had happened. Thus began his quest to find the truth, which led him to the only true Savior, Jesus.
