Since then Im living in Cape Verde Islands, but I intend to come back next year, Should I apply for settled status or the Authorities will change may staus automatically? Thanks in advance
I think you still need to apply, I applied last months ago and i got an answer in 4days. One of the requirements for settled status is to live and work in UK 🇬🇧 continuously for 5 Yrs. How about you check out the above ⬆️ details for more explanations and solutions, I highly recommend his services

So if I have the pre settle status but I left the uk for 1.5 year but now I am back in the uk, when the pre settle status will expire in 2025, will I have the right to remain in the country?
Yes. Since pre-settled status doesn't expire anymore, You've only lost your accumulated residence period for settled status. That means you'll have to start the qualifying period over. But your rights will continue. Hope that clears it up.
@@thomastothUKAre you absolutely sure that the pre-settled does not expire anymore? HO announced a "single" extension of 2 years, it's not so clear if someone may/will receive multiple extensions by not being able (or refusing) to apply for settled status.

Indeed that’s not true that the pre settlement doesn’t expire anymore

Who can understand what you are saying?!😂
