Great job using these American phrases, Vipul!😊❤️

Nice vipul🤩
I’m American I’ve never heard of the phrase to “table something” but it was nice to see American slang words. Twitter has a bunch of American slang
@@thistagworked true I’ve never though about that!!!
Can we talk together for my improvment?😅
את אמריקאית ולא שמעת על המשפט "להתחמק משהו", אבל סבבה
"Let's go ahead and table that for now" is something I hear on a daily basis in Corporate America.
It’s a common phrase in white collar office jobs. Where you regularly have meetings that follow a written agenda. So to put an idea off to the side for another time is to “table it”
"Bless your heart" is, at least occasionally, a positive phrase. "You came by and gave me a ride, just when it started to rain. Bless your heart!" Also, it can be positive and negative at the same time. In the vegan brownie example, the person saying "bless your heart" can simultaneously mean, "It was kind of you to make an effort," AND "nobody likes your brownies." Finally, "bless his/her heart" can be used to highlight a flaw in a person you like, "I love him to death, but bless his heart, he can't hold down a job."
"I plead the 5th". That is my favorite phrase ever 😍

@@SpeakEnglishWithVanessa you are so generous as you take care of all those who listen and learn from your lessons on you tube. May God bless you and your family always.♡
We say, “Bless Your heart” and it’s always kind (Maryland). Our grandmother (from southern Virginia) always meant it kindly.
The British do use the phrase pissed off in the meaning of being angry, however the postposition is obligatory, otherwise it's a synonym for being drunk) And "Piss off! " is another way to say "Get out!" there.
Thanks for sharing!
In america "Piss off" is also "Get out" .

A good one : “what is the angle ?”
I think it’s specifically used in the us

I laughed a lot when you explained "bless your heart" because here in northern Italy we have the expression "beato te" (che non capisci nulla) which means almost literally the same thing: bless your hearth (because you understand nothing) 😀
Great lesson!

Dear teacher, this lesson is very interesting and useful, but I am living in a country which speaks Chinese, so in our daily lives it's hard to have the opportunity to use these authentic American English, so this class is very interesting. It’s just that you can easily forget about colloquial English in this way.But I like to learn English with you. Many thanks for your sharing.💖💖💖😘😘😘💯💯💯

Hi, mam. I watch your videos as soon as you upload. While listening some English audio story, I came across some big/uncommon words that are used to express deeper meaning of various life situation (probably). If you make a video about those typa fancy words, that non-English speakers may need to know, that will be so helpful. And thanks for uploading constantly.

Bless your heart can also be used when someone is sad. Crying hysterically or yes when you're a little naive.

Very good class. Thanks Vanessa
Great lessons! I am glad I can use these phases to creat a scene. I asked my old daughter, “ when do you plan to practice the piano”, she tabled the discussion. I asked her again, “ you don’t like piano?” She said, “ I pleaded the 5th.” I said, “ I give you 5 bucks if you practice now.” She answered “ bless your heart, you do not have to, I am just not into piano.” She was ready to duke it out with me. Maybe it is time to sit over there and shoot a breeze with her.
