@@cadmantheaviator Yes, even in the second interview, which you can see on my channel, he is not very nice. Here he says some pretty unkind things about Madonna. Shocking people and the absolute desire to make headlines was probably part of Sigue Sigue Sputnik's marketing concept.
@@formeleinsclassics938 It's interesting to see the clips you have posted on your channel. I agree SSS tried very hard to be shocking. When I was a kid I was a big fan. From time to time I have a look and see if any news footage appears. Nostalgia I suppose.
@@cadmantheaviator Thank you so much for your nice message, it made me very happy! Yes, I was also totally fascinated by SSS as a child, the look and the sound were so new and different. I grew up in a small village in Germany and had never seen anything comparable until then. Over the years I collected a lot of stuff from SSS (and also from many other stars of the 80s). On my second channel I have once made a video about it. You can watch it here: ua-cam.com/video/LXxL8afnOX4/v-deo.html

Martin Degville seems kind of vile really.
Thank you for your comment! I had the chance to met Martin in person a few years ago and he is a really nice and sweet guy!
@@formeleinsclassics938 yeah, his comments on women, overweight people and people from overseas haven't been forgotten.
