Thank you for all the great horn playing and the fantastic horns, though I suspect you make all horns sound great. Mr. Horn Trader, who would you recommend to mechanically over haul a 1960s era Olds Super? Thank you again

Hi, I've noticed that some old trumpets don't have the first piston tuning trigger on the first pomp. On the high notes, do the notes come out in tune? Trumpets usually have the trigger to adjust the pitch. If you can answer me, I will be grateful.

I just found one of these in my school and started playing it, I then realized that my serial number is in the 100,000s

    Random question
If you had to compare a olds recording to a Schilke trumpet what model would you say is close to the same?

In A Schilke it would probably be the S32HD both are heavier in weight and medium large bore size.
Here's a S32HD for sale on my site It is a slightly used "DEMO"
Schilke S32HD SN/ 65307 ML Bore LIKE NEW!

Is this better than a bell 37 strad?

the tone is darker/ warmer. The Blow is about the same. The balance feels good in you hands.
