Fish for dinner ❤
My favourite Sunday show. Fishing life at sea, it doesn’t get any better👌
Top team sir
Great viewing, you work like a dream team and have a bit of fun along the way, loved the Rebecca caught something 😂. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🎣🎣🎣
Trying to catch mackerel from the shore is proving more difficult than finding hens teeth! Hope they settle soon!
Not just the shore its getting harder to find them in the last couple of years from the boat
Good fishing you two. Monster mackerel. Well done 👏
Thanks for pulling that balloon out of the water Trojs they cause so much trouble to wild life and the environment, mackerel are moving in now as the weather improves nice fish you and Rebecca cought by fair means or foul hooked 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟😊😊
Great to see you 2 catching fish and enjoying a nice day on the water. BTW it has cooled to 87 degrees Fahrenheit for the next few days here. That's doable. Ty again Mike
Troj,i think if you thew your line out on the lawn you'd catch a fish.
Lol I think I would catch the cat first
Great mixed catch, looked like it was good sport. Thanks
Do you use the frames of the Pollack for crab pots
Yes we use the heads and frames from most of the fish for the crab pots.
Great fishing today guys brilliant day out catching all that fish 🐟. Looks lovely and carm. Larry's look great too 👍 love the show from meteorite mac channel Derbyshire
BEKKA, DYE YOUR HAIR RED! YOU ARE ALREADY A BEAUTIFUL SIDEKIC, TROY SHOULD BE MORE FRISKY IF YOUR HEAD WAS RED, LOL!!!
Very good catch plus fun
As long as you catch "something" ... All is well !
Good morning to you.
Many thanks for the vlog, fishing in guernsey is vastly superior than the island to your south eastly direction of you.
Three of us went out at day brake until 1900 yesterday 08/06, caught a grand total of "6" yes six mackerel, plus giant sand eels 30-35 cm, a few bream plus rockies and dog fish as well as four bull huss.
Please keep up your enjoyable vlogs especially to keep us reminded that your area is not fished out by the Red White and Blue.
We probably also have access to that extra bit of depth being a bit further out. Having said that we did not catch any fish this morning. It was so quite out there.
Fabulous Pollock and some stonking Mackerel Troy & Rebecca! Glad you got the pot winch fixed.
I've heard that if boat fishing for Mackerel with a string of lures, it sometimes pays to leave the lures down for a short while after hooking the first fish, because Mackerel tend to shoal, and once one fish is hooked, it might attract others. Thoughts please?
Thanks for the upload, stay safe & well. 🎣🎣👍👍
Most of the time they are already in shoals. If you leave a fish struggling on the line you might attract the attention of a porbeagle shark or maybe a seal. Once you hook one if the fishing is lean then reeling slower may encourage others to take the lures.
Great video folks .
The thing's you find at sea I have had cars passed me along with a container out in the Bristol channel...
Whilst fishing off my boat..
Anyway folks stay safe and well
i was down cornwall newquey last week and managed to get a 2 hour boat trip 30 quid, 11 anglers 5 fish and i had 2 of um, i saved the flavor so nice but hard going, how times have changed
Years ago boats took some of the shoal now some of these giant ships are stripping out the whole shoal.
great bit of fishing there🙂
Hi enjoyed the vid , what hauler do you use is it 12 volt ime looking for one , would you recommend that make ?
store.coastalnets.co.uk/collections/line-net-haulers We have have found them good for what we do
Great catch , do you get sharks in your waters
We do sometimes but you don't often see them.
Just curious do you sell your catch or keep for yourselves
We eat a lot of the catch but also have a licence
What do you do with all the fish you catch
It all goes as food and the frames and heads used as lobster/crab bait The boat also has a licence
Fantastic day out👍
Nice watching ❤
Great video. We’re still struggling to find the Mackerel out of Weymouth. Hopefully they’ll be in soon.
We had some for a couple of days but now we are back to catching none again. I think the ones we were catching are some small shoals that hang around all year not the the large migratory shoals. Hopefully they arrive soon.
