Now you won me 1000% I'm from Gdansk and Gdansk will be always my #1 city and Sopot #1.5 :) Krakow is my city #2. I love Krakow almost as much as Gdansk. Whenever I had a chance to go to Krakow I'm was so happy to go there ❤

You seems to love the same architecture like most of the Polish people. Definitely should visit Wrocław and Poznań. Same beauty like Kraków and Gdańsk.
I'm from Kraków. For me Gdańsk ( nederl: Danswijk, germ: Danzig ) looks like little Holland ). The reason is that , a lot of the architects who designed houses in Gdańsk were of Dutch origin. Among others: Willem van den Blocke, Abraham van den Blocke, Antoni van Obberghen, Andreas Schluter. Gdańsk also belonged to the Hanseatic League, associating the ports of the Baltic Sea, eg Lübeck.
I live in Toruń, so it's not far away from Gdańsk, about 1.5 hour by car. I love Gdańsk...but I don't know if I'd like to live there because of 2 things: 1. Very strong winds in the winter. 2. It's very difficult to get from one place to another because of the traffic on the streets. See you tomorrow Nynke !!!
I was there in August was warm and beautiful 🤩 the city is just magical! But in summer Gdańsk is overcrowded with tourist ! But definitely I had magical time ! I do recommend you to visit one day next summer city of Lublin! I visited and love it also was magical and I think not so expensive!
'Nec temere, nec timide' -> 'neither rashly, nor timidly' -> 'bez strachu, ale z rozwagą' lub 'niezuchwale, niestrachliwie'. /The official motto from the coat of arms of Gdańsk/ Nynke dear, what could possibly better describe your actions in the recent days than this official motto of Gdańsk? You acted like a true native of Gdańsk - neither rashly, nor timidly - to overcome the confusion that happened upon your arrival to this city and to put the situation under control. I am so happy and relieved - brave girl! 👍😃 I also feel happy that you decided to stay in Gdańsk and enjoy this beautiful city regardless of the initial obstacles. And by Jove (to remain in the Latin mood 😉😃), wasn't it worth it. I can honestly say that I've never seen the early autumn Gdańsk filmed so beautifully. Magnificent houses meticulously rebuilt from the ground up, wonderful architectural details and works of art lovingly restored and maintained, colourful building facades blending together with the colours of the early autumn leaves sparkling in the October sun, beauty and harmony everywhere like in the best masterpieces of the Dutch and Flemish masters of painting - no wonder that your romantic Dutch-Polish heart and soul are torn between Kraków and Gdańsk. So where should you have a permanent place to stay, in Kraków or in Gdańsk? If I were you, I would probably choose to have a flat in Kraków, because you already know so many people there and probably no one (or very few) in Gdańsk. But I also understand why Gdańsk stole your heart. It is such a beautiful city at the sea coast and it looks and feels so similar to your first homeland, so it would be so cool to have a cozy flat overlooking Motława as well ... Well, I believe that whatever choice you will make there will be no wrong outcome in the end. Ideally, you should have your place in both of these cities, and that's what I wish you today. Uściski! 🍀🥰🤗
Gdańsk has an issue of prices. It's very, very expensive, as a matter of fact, I think it's the most expensive city in Poland, maby only second to Sopot. If you can get over it, and don't mind the smell of sea, go for it.
Thanks Ninka for the remainder-Gdansk is my favorite city in Poland. I watched your latest and I feel ambarasset that it happened especially to you in Gdansk. It's good that you are over it.. You see sometimes live is a vampire and remember what doesn't keel you makes you stronger ( I heard this somewhere?) but anyway you enjoy your stay and have fun! Pozdrawiam❤
Don't be surprised by the similarity of Gdańsk to the Netherlands. Gdańsk was one of the Hanseatic cities. Unfortunately, the Soviets Army destroyed Gdańsk in over 80%. Not everything has been rebuilt. Read 'The Tin Drum' Günter Grass.
If you need to make a choice between Gdańsk and Cracow, choose Gdańsk. Close to the sea and people there are much more friendly and open than in Cracow.
I can agree with you about the second part of your sentence but I really don't know if I agree with the first one... But maybe you are right. I'm not very often in Kraków...
Gdańsk to zdecydowanie lepsze miejsce do życia niż Kraków, ale nie najlepsze w Polsce, zdecydowanie najlepsza i dająca najwięcej możliwości oraz mającą absolutnie wszystko jest Warszawa . 🙂

Yes, that's true !
Greets from Toruń !😇
we are gonna move from Germany to Gdansk. it is our favourite city. the colors are faded out on your, could be more intense.
Not far from Gdańsk is Malbork, where the largest brick castle in the world is located. It is worth visiting, I recommend it.
Robisz przepiękne zdjęcia.. Powinnaś otworzyć galerię.. 😍😍
Bardzo dziękuję 🥰
You have more choice. Poznań, Wrocław, Sandomierz, Rzeszów, Olsztyn, Szczecin or Jelenia Góra, Kłodzko, Kalisz...
Jak jestem na wczasach na wybrzeżu zawsze wpadam do Gdańska. Miasto ma swój urok jest inne . Architektura różni się od polskich miast .
A very beautiful film of a very beautiful town. If You have to choose between Krakow and Gdansk it is a very difficuilt decision
Both cities are beautiful.
No need to say which one is better or more beautiful...
Piękny film.🤗🤗🤗 Zobaczyć Gdańsk twoimi oczami to cudowne przeżycie.
Kolorowych snów.
Do jutra.
Look for the polish movie: Do widzenia do jutra (1960). It was filmed in Gdansk.
I will! Thank you 🙂
❤❤❤
The most Dutch climate :)

Gdańsk is nice. Kraków is great and in a league of its own. Nothing in Poland even comes close to Kraków in my opinion.
Being back in Kraków I realize that this place is indeed something really special 😊
