@Vanity0666 I didn't go to blizzcon just for the concert, i went for the keynote, panels, and demos, it does suck they didn't have enough seats to accommodate everyone who wanted to see the concert. There were definitely people who paid $300 or even $800 just for this 30 minute kpop concert

Many collab events including real artists tend to be too on the nose, like by simply putting them in their idol outfits on the game as a new gacha character, so I had my doubts. But this collab actually took the effort of making existing characters wear stylish outfits that convey the spirit and meaning behind their song "Perfect Night". An exemplary collab event overall. :)

Weird Al, Metallica, and Linkin Park were way better, he actually performed live instead of just having the songs playing in the background. They can dance well and the coordination is impressive but you're essentially just listening to Spotify while watching them.

Metallica did all their songs live as did Linkin Park. I believe this group was the first at blizzcon to lip sync. That is all I'm pointing out. When you go to a live show you expect, the music artist to actually sing, not pretend to. It's a concert, not a dance contest.

Not only all the music and live stages, but variety show appearances, even their own programs like leniverse, fearless kkura, eunchae's star diary, HMLYCP, and the pre-debut documentary "world is my oyster". I even took the time to look up whether or not Le Sserafim specifically got called out for it because of how egregious it is in this performance, and it turns out they are well known for poorly lip syncing constantly

As a Fearnot I'm getting interested in Overwatch now, I'm a gamer but I'm usually bad at shooting games in general, I'm more of RPG games (especially addicted to the Souls saga since Demon's Souls) but I'd give it a try. That's why this kind of collabs are good for both parts, many Overwatch players are starting to listen to Le Sserafim and many Le Sserafim fans are starting to play Overwatch, just a win-win!
they are very much singing live. You can literally hear them singing along with the backing track. When you're doing high endurance performances like this with choreography like they are, you cannot ever expect to be stable when you're singing for that long. Your body wouldn't let you no matter how hard you are trying because you're trying to catch your breath from the dancing! So the fact that I can still hear them, and i can hear them CLEARLY hitting high notes is amazing! Backing track is to ensure consistent singing and it ensures a good performance. There is no shame in using one when you're not lip syncing all the time too!

It's nice to see K-pop getting the exposure it deserves in America. I really can't emphasize enough how wonderful this genre of music is and how little recognition they get compared to the amount of artistry it has. Involving not just vocals, but dance, rap, visuals, and stage presence. I remember when I had recommended in my UA-cam feed a girls generation MV. My life changed and I have been an avid k-pop fan ever since.
Chaewon speaking English not only well but, with confidence too. Zuha, Kkura, and Eun-Chae did so well too, I can see they were nervous, but hearing them speak English for the first time was interesting, they did great. Obviously, Yunjin grew up in New York 😂, so no need to say anything there. Awesome is this group🙌❤.

That way the girls don’t have to sing every lines if they are tired, thanks to the backtrack people won’t notice they aren’t singing, and when they can or want to sing or shout people hear them and hypes everyone
Thank you for filming them in a watchable way. No insane abrupt camera crash zooms or sub second rotations like in the Korean music shows. This was perfectly watchable without giving headaches. I think the best coverage of a kpop performance in quite a long while 👍
The setlist they ran with for the mini concert was solid. Going with "Flash Forward" as a resting song was a good choice. It has good energy & is an overall fun song. "Fire in the Belly" is always fun.
i am not a huge le sserafim fan, but i like a few of their songs. i am, however, a huge kpop fan and absolutely love this collaboration effort. cheers to the ow team for making this happen, and cheers to le sserafim for killing the stage and giving us some great content of them playing the game!

It's all lip sync, you can't actually sing while doing choreo like that because of the pressure it puts on your diaphragm

they are very much singing live. You can literally hear them singing along with the backing track. When you're doing high endurance performances like this with choreography like they are, you cannot ever expect to be stable when you're singing for that long. Your body wouldn't let you no matter how hard you are trying because you're trying to catch your breath from the dancing! So the fact that I can still hear them, and i can hear them CLEARLY hitting high notes is amazing! Backing track is to ensure consistent singing and it ensures a good performance. There is no shame in using one when you're not lip syncing all the time too!
i love them but i reckon 20% real, mostly lip syncing.

It's nice to see K-pop getting the exposure it deserves in America. I really can't emphasize enough how wonderful this genre of music is and how little recognition they get compared to the amount of artistry it has. Involving not just vocals, but dance, rap, visuals, and stage presence. I remember when I had recommended in my UA-cam feed a girls generation MV. My life changed and I have been an avid k-pop fan ever since.

Le Sserafim is amazing .
Chaewon speaking English not only well but, with confidence too. Zuha, Kkura, and Eun-Chae did so well too, I can see they were nervous, but hearing them speak English for the first time was interesting, they did great. Obviously, Yunjin grew up in New York 😂, so no need to say anything there. Awesome is this group🙌❤.

That way the girls don’t have to sing every lines if they are tired, thanks to the backtrack people won’t notice they aren’t singing, and when they can or want to sing or shout people hear them and hypes everyone

The setlist they ran with for the mini concert was solid. Going with "Flash Forward" as a resting song was a good choice. It has good energy & is an overall fun song. "Fire in the Belly" is always fun.
i am not a huge le sserafim fan, but i like a few of their songs. i am, however, a huge kpop fan and absolutely love this collaboration effort. cheers to the ow team for making this happen, and cheers to le sserafim for killing the stage and giving us some great content of them playing the game!
