Brother, you just saved me so much stress. I owe you a handshake, pat on the back, and to teach you something I know. Thank you and if we ever cross paths, allow me to show you some grappling.
Good one, nice job. Been doing it that way for years now, but every time I tried to make a video I messed it up. Clip the restrictor end off that exit spout and it's very unlikely the leaks will return. I've never had one come back since doing it this way.
@@KingleyAuto Does this problem come from sunroof because I need to access the beginning of problem and I did subscribe I like the way you show what to do thank you
First thing to try is an air compressor w a rubber blow gun tip. Open the sun roof and blow air into each drain hole in the front R and L corners. Make sure the rubber tip seals the holes. If someone is available to help. Have them listen by the wheel wells. If the drain lines aren’t full of dried compacted debris your helper w easily hear air blowing out of the rubber drains behind the black plastic wheel well. Worked like a charm and didn’t have to spend an hour plus taking the plastics apart.
I’m having the same problem on my brand new explorer. I’m about done with it and not going to buy explorers again. I’ve been so faithful to this model,… but they’re not faithful to us.
@@josephkrause5290 Problem solved. The water comes in at the cowl area ( for me the right side) when the duckbill thing is full of debris it fills the troff area (at the cowl) up with water and has nowhere to drain but into the fresh air return which spills into the cabin filter and makes it way to the front passenger floorboard. There is a gulley in the floor pan that allows water to travel from the front floorboard to the rear floorboard. As a side note my driveway is pitched up so the Explorer is pitched nose high sitting in the driveway which exacerbates the issue. I hope this helps someone like me. @@JulieHighland can you tell me if you were able to fix the issue and how ? is happening with mine explorer 2021
@@AngieRodriguez-rq7xe I cleaned out my garage and keep it in there. Haven’t fixed it yet as my warranty expired right before this happened.
What if it's drenched on the passenger side back seat floor board?
Go for the air com drain pipe as it is blocked.
Did it work?? My 2016 explorer is getting wet in the front passenger floorboard all the way to the back passenger floor board.
Mine too. Did you find yours?? If so what was it?
@@meanttobe22did u find out where the water leak was coming from?
@@Ls400Saint yes it was coming in through the cowl on the fresh air through the cabin filter.
@@meanttobe22I also don’t have a sun roof. Now when you say the cabin air filter? It’s behind the dash? And what did you do to fix it?
