Were the ROs on stage 9 having issues with their timer sensitivity or is this rifle really quiet? That timer RO got extremely close to get that last shot.
Actually we had Camden and Megan ROing us all day Friday, following the squad. He never had any issues with timers because he was on top of it making sure to pick up the time. This rifle can be quiet with subsonic loads but I was shooting Supervel 115gr at this match and it was pretty loud so no issues.
It's a great experience so far. There are a lot of nice benefits, but actually the most significant one to me is the lower maintenance, even compared to a blowback PCC. It's also much lighter, a little more compact in its overall length, and can run almost any 9mm ammo (even hotter loads) with no real negative effects on dot movement. You do have to tune it to the ammo though, but most of that is just changing the recoil spring in the SCS.
@@Maxamundi What you tried putting one of the Kynshot buffers in the JP5? Maybe even installing one in reverse (with a spacer to keep the buffer spring in place) might be worth experimenting with
I've been sponsored by Supervel Ammo for a little under a year now, and that's pretty much all I run now. I'm shooting their 115gr Certified Select out of the JP5 with the only change being an increased power recoil spring and it's still super soft. The 147gr Competition load is what I'd recommend for any handgun and blowback PCC, although it is a little overpowered for most blowback PCCs, but still controllable. That's what I shot at Dragon's Cup last year from my blowback and I did totally fine.
@@MarioHesles the jp5 is a bit slower barrel than most blowback PCCs. I’d guess the 115gr supervel does about 145-150pf out of blowbacks, it does 142pf in this JP5 barrel, and about 133 out of handguns. Trigger is a geissele super dynamic 3-gun
@@MarioHesles I ran the 100% AR-10 silent capture spring in this match. With the stock JP5 silent capture buffer which is short stroked and only has two stainless weights.
What a machine! Great stuff man!
Max - Thanks for taking the time to post such well produced videos. So much to take away here.
Congrats Max! Nice work man.
Nice shooting max. JP5 is going!
I had 1 win over ya!! Great shooting. It was a hot weekend
Never noticed DQ sponsorship on stage 1. Very tongue in cheek.
Great work, dude! I just recently started shooting PCC in some USPSA matches and have learned so much from watching your videos
All sorts of badassery right there brotha🤜🏼🥇🤛🏼
Where did that activator on Stage 5 come from? I need to get something like that for our club.
cograts! solid runs ! nice free style at the end 👌
What's around the handguard ? It look likes a suppressor cover
Great 👍🏼♠️⚡️♠️
What are you using for a hat cam?
Awesome 👏
Congratz!
Watching from Philippines 😉
I hope one day i will be shoot fast like you 😅
Hi Max, I’ve noticed that you are not using the all vertical comp. Is this the JP ti comp your using? Is it better or just lighter?
No more eotech?
I still run it, just wanted to throw the lighter Romeo 3 on here.

How's the JP5 experience sir? Congratulations!

Nice shooting
Congrats! What load are you running? That is pretty awesome that you beat several GM open shooters to take the overall win.

@@Maxamundi thanks Max, what is the power factor of the 115s and the weight of the spring you’re using?
