The creator of this series was in a gang back in the early 2000s and was asked to write a series about being a gangster or thug by an editor but wasnt sure how they act nowadays so he made the main go back in time so he Express his experience

So many people are reacting to this show and it's fun to watch the shocks and surprises hit someone else in the heart. The manga is in its final arc and it's agony waiting for new chapters each week. I want more story, but I don't really want to see an end to it yet. I wound up deeply invested in the lives of these characters and it hurts to see what they go through.

@@Zetriiz yeah I agree lame mc's is a huge problem in anime, I get they were trying to make a weak character that got bullied a lot and stuff but they can still make him a good character who's weak like the best example I want to give is naruto he was bullied a lot and kinda hopeless at everything at the start but he wasn't a badly made character even though he wasn't necessarily weak either though. And look at asta from black clover he was bullied a lot and weak at the start but was still a good MC (apart from being super annoying at the start)

There are many frustrating things about this show, biggest issue is the MC but if you are able to ignore those some issues you will really enjoy this show
Please watch the uncensored version, because of the manji symbol which is the Buddhist symbol that the national socialist party (the Nazis) took and flipped to create their infamous flag this series got censored outside of Japan, just to reiterate the manji isn't a Nazi symbol, you can find the uncensored version online pretty easily, the censoredship gets extremely bad during the fights, like the camera randomly cuts away from the action but you still can hear the screams and punches lol
I'm going to be honest here. Tokyo Revengers gets my vote for New Anime Series Of The Year. (Notice that I said new. It's not going to beat out the likes of Wano One Piece, the first part of the final season of Attack on Titan, the second part of the second season of ReZero, the second season of Dr. Stone, and the second season of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. Man, I didn't realize how much that Winter lineup spoiled us! LOL.) But I digress. Tokyo Revengers is amazing, and everybody who is an anime fan should go watch it if they haven't yet. It is that damn good!
