I am just so overwhelmed with joy and gratefulness. I couldn't have done it without you guys! Thank you so much for all the support. I took a little break from posting to work on some other projects. It's very rare that I find an artist show the depth of their struggles with any of their pieces, to see that raw emotion when they self doubt themselves and their work and work so hard to make it work for themselves. I could see and feel how nervewracking it was to try to make the painting the best you could for someone very special to you and feel judged before they even got a chance to lay their eyes upon it. You did an emaculate job, he seemed very pleased with the finished piece and had already picked a spot to showcase it. At the end of the day, you're an amazing artist and don't you dare forget that, continue to let that fact drive you to keep succeeding and to think about whenever you may feel let down by yourself or your abilities. We will be here to turn to for that extra support, we love you dearly and want nothing but the best for you, Beanie. Much love 💘

Commissions are so hard, there’s so much pressure, even when the customer doesn’t expect that much of us we can’t help but want to give them perfection, but you did amazing as always and I’m sorry Artist Brain made you suffer needlessly.

WOW the painting turned out AMAZING!! I love how you showed the whole process of creating it and that it's okay to mess up and start over. I often try to fix things in my drawings over and over and it's really frustrating so it's really cool to see that someone who's at your level of skill goes through the same thing!

First of all, I love how bubbly you are! I watched this while I sketched on my canvas. Watching your process was nice, because I can completely relate to the anxiety of not wanting to let a commissionary down. You did an absolutely beautiful job on this, the added goodies was so cute, and your extra effort to pick the right packaging was so sweet.

I think that when you're doin a painting/portrait for yourself, it's easier. You're at ease and relaxed. But when its for someone, it's like anxiety. Make sure everything is perfect.
Yeah, seems like there would be an intense amount of stress you could deal with for a commissioned piece, especially for someone who’s opinion you care about.

I've drawn a lot of people and I've found that drawing people that you have emotional connection to is SUPER HARD. Usually you have a face and emotion that it conveys, but when it's someone you like your emotions get in a way AND the painting is never "as good as them", never perfect, never finished...

oh man I totally relate to feeling the pressure of wanting to make a commission exceed the expectations of what your client asks for. I know many people like me love the piece but I get as the person making it, you know what you wanted and didnt want. I remember someone told me "artists make more 'bad' art than 'good art'" to which it is true. we practice and practice, create and rework,until we finally make a piece we are proud of showing. Seriously though your work is amazing and i look forward to watching your next body of works.
