Hello, since I've had like 5 tp slots in Verse 2 alone (and a kamui), I'd like to share some information. First of all and probably one of the most important is just how incredibly hit or miss teleportation can be. You can either have around 1 TP point to 7~ish. If you get 1 TP point you might as well just wipe, it's practically useless. The usual amount I get without drowned is 3. I've gotten 4 tp points without drown, though. Provided you have a good TP bell, it's miles above Kamui in travelling prowess. Kamui is okay, but its main uses for me are to reach high places or escape during combat. TP bell basically has all of that if you have time to prep to go to high places. It also sometimes teleports you within seconds, so if you have a good spot to TP you're basically just using a better combat Kamui. Teleportation is already good for utility like selling and going to bosses in seconds. Great for starting ganks/ running away from them, I also noticed that you can use player TP during Layer 2, effectively putting a GPS on your friends. Probably very good if you're teaching a freshie to do layer two. I've also had an animal king TP slot (I have the luck of the world) and it was probably the most fun experience I've had in Deepwoken. You're basically invincible if you have both of these. Animal king to teleport any monster you want (my favorite being squibbo). And one more thing about Kamui, one of the most useful things I've noticed for it is speedrunning potential (it moves you in the way you walk/ look) and that combat Kamui is one of the undoubtedly most useful things to have in Hell mode. It's basically an unstoppable failsafe; provided you aren't getting ABA air comboed by every mob in the game. and FINALLY, please remember something. Despite teleportation sounding so good and powerful, at some point it gets boring. Please focus on everything else this game has to offer, teleportation is not everything. Though, kamui is kind of nice though.
correct me if im wrong, but i have the same variant as you (3 tps, player mark) and i think the player tp range is unlimited. its just the marker showing where the tp is has range. ive tpd to a player when hovering over their general direction even when their tp waypoint dissapears
Do you still get the rewards if you unlimited void enemies with your teleportation and then kill them? Cos that could be a possible cheese for certain bosses and a way to help low lvl players kill powerful stuff.
You do, but it's probably less efficient than just hopping on a PvE build and killing them normally. Other than blizzard knights there's nothing worth cheesing
Deepwidow/King thresher in the Eastern luminant, Mech/Winter knights in the Etrean I guess. Deepwidows have 2x the HP of a mech, and can auto grip / deal % dmg with their poison, threshers have mobility and aoe.
what about lord reagents guards? they are immortal and basically are just lightning clones and they could fight those who haven't fought duke on their pvp slot.
before they made most of the bosses instanced they just made bosses unable to get teleported. I've seen people bypass this with primadon with some jank but i don't know what jank
I have 2 theories about this: 1. He cannot be teleported (I tried at his feet, no luck) 2. His teleportation box might be somwhere around his torso, so you'd have to get someone with glacial arc and other people to keep him occupied while it winds up (not very feasible mid-fight)

True, I do need to test a thresher army (I believe there's 2 king thresher spawns in the Deep Thresher Nest which could be funny)

Try it with primadon. I believe it’s the only “boss” that doesn’t teleport you to a separate place
