- This video showcases all catching and catapult finishers in WWE 2K23. Whilst this isn't an area of a game that seems to get any focus anymore, the older animations to remain and are still pretty fun to use. The moves in the list include the AA, RKO, Pedigree, Tombstone and more.

Alot of them were put in for wrestlers no longer wrestling in WWE, which shows how long we've gone without new catching finishers..
Most of them are still in WWE
Last time we had new catch finishers was in 2k17. I’m not sure why 2k22 removed the trouble in paradise and brogue kick catch finishers

@@donyelletaber6555 Not true. Rock Bottom is still the same animation, so is the RKO and Pedigree since the PS3 days. 2K are just hella incompetent now.
Still waiting on a Catch Finisher for a Stunner and a TKO, especially since not every reversal from a diving attack is gonna be a Carry Move.
The Catch and Drag & Carry are two areas I was really hoping they’d add some depth to. It really helps give that “OUTTA NOWHERE” feel to finishers. Sad they didn’t expand on it.
The controls for performing them are Broken 😢Woke since they only cared about war games! So I am done with 2k’s BS! The ONLY game that does catch finishers the best is WWE 2k19! After that they don’t give a F*ck! I don’t even think they are for the fans! Pokémon company They are always for the fans! F*ck 2k!
I hate how there’s zero new catching finishers with new releases.
Just give us at least 3 new moves like a Powerslam, Guillotine, or a stalling suplex Giovanni does
U have a problem with the catching finishers 🤦♂️ dude I been begging for a new chokeslam,rko, phenomenal forearm, and curb stomp. All very important finishers that have yet to get an update

a catching x-factor would be a dream come true. the beauty of the actual move is how simple it is and that u can do it from anywhere

11 years ago we saw those catching finishers animations for the first time. I bet 100€ that in WWE 2K33 will still be the same... 💸

I'll never understand why they refuse to update these. That RKO catching finisher is disgusting, and it has always been disgusting. I don't dislike the Sweet Chin Music but I'd prefer if the opponent sold it differently too
I feel like the sweet chin music should definitely be sold differently and not look like they’re directly going for the sell
even the normal rko looks disgusting, svr 2010 is miles better, randy orton is my favorite wrestler of all time but i dont play him i hate the finisher and his wake up animation

You can already do that with a normal reversal. It will switch to the carry grapple and you can do a power bomb from there if the wrestler has it.

When they first introduced this mechanic, I remember being so excited about the possibilities. All these years later, and they’ve barely added any new ones…
I'm gonna bet there aren't any new Rumble Finishers, Double Finishers, or Comebacks either.

They should've add new ones like Styles Clash, Claymore, Spinning Kick (Black Mass), Jumping Knee Strike (V-Trigger), Brogue Kick (Idk why they took that off), Bitter End, Bayley To Belly, etc. Something new
How in the world do you execute these? I kept hitting r2 then x but there's no promp whatsoever, it was easier in 2k19.

You know what’s sad they could redo any good ps2 wrestling game for modern system and charge a ridiculous amount and it would still outsell this game the fans are thirsty for a really good wrestling game

It's a crime that you can't do catching finishers from springboards. How am I supposed to counter the phenomenonal forearm with an RKO or recreate that Shawn Vs Shelton moment?

@@fnggaming89 you press circle Irish whip into the Ropes then when the guy bounces off your press L1 to do the throw in the air then press the finisher X and square to do it, but the ones like in this video it’s only when a guy jumps off the top rope and you do a finisher that it’s like that

Shits trash worth $60+ for the same game came out last year. Wwe 2k22 was the 1st game I bought in over 10yrs because how it was the same crap, talents missing, not much storyline at all. So nope I'll stick to the awesome jobs the community has done. In this one seems like they worked on handful of wrestlers and others are left the same or even worse 😂😂
