Tanglefoot Brewing is a small Czech lager focused brewery in Temple, TX.
In 2021 the brewery opened in the back of my family's BBQ restaurant that had been operating for 53 years. The restaurant has since closed and Tanglefoot has now taken over the entire space.
This UA-cam channel was started to document the process of opening, running and growing a small craft brewery.
I like seeing these hands on videos.
I'll keep 'em coming. 🍻
I'd like to see more of the brew equipment setup and what happens on a brew day. I just subscribed. This could be a fun channel.
Definitely more of that to come. 🍻
Good channel and nice in depth video. Subscribed! Homebrewer from Ireland.
Thank you! Cheers 🍻
Good stuff, i have a 1 barrel gravity system. Looking to go your rt. Ive been after since 2015 as a home brewer. Have 2 awards certificates behind me for entering contests in NorthWest. Would you suggest working for someone else or just dive inn? Thanks for your time
Definitely go work somewhere first. Not just for practical brewing experience but more importantly the business/operations side of things. A lot more to it than brewing great beer! Will be doing some business specific content soon 🍻
How do you sanitise and pre-pressure the keg? Keep going with your videos.
I have used other brewery friends keg washers/set up to clean them in the past but have recently been cleaning them in house. Will show more in the future but basically utilizing a coupler, I run circuits of cleaner, hot water for rinse and then sanitizer through the keg via an attached coupler with a pump and hoses. Whew. That's a mouthfull.
