- I love the bowl, one of the SISTEMA Microwave Collections, so I got another item from them. Steamer. My husband and I like to have buns and dumplings for quick & easy meals. And this steamer made it much easier and actually yummier!!

This is exactly the video I was searching for! Found in moments, thank you! I bought the larger rice cooker, which I use for my sticky rice, and it always comes out perfectly! Unfortunately, someone else washed my 1st one, and one of the tabs was broken off and eaten by the garbage disposal. So sad! So I ordered the rice cooker/small steamer set, and wondered if I could do dumplings in the smaller steamer. I've had it for months, and haven't tried, yet. But like you, I did the paper towel thing, and I know JUST what you mean by hard edges. I don't like to fry my dumplings, I much prefer them steamed. So I'm going to try this, today. Your video was such a HUGE help! Thank you! Oh, and thanks to Sistema for terrific microwaveable products!😊

How long do you microwave dumplings? Also how much water?
I usually put 7-10 dumplings for 5 min, then check to see all is cooked. Most of times, 5 min is enough, but it may vary depending on the microwave. For water, 1 cup (8oz) should do.
Looks so yummy. Tell me how long you need to cook dumplings ?
I think about 5-6 minutes for 10.

Would like to see timings for single person portions thanks I’ve just bought this sat gone my microwave is 1000kw but can be lowered to defrost low medium and high. I love most the things this says it does. Dies it handle milk in porridge as that’s how I like to make mine thanks. I use the sprays already would be nice if systems could bring out a decent spray oil defused to save us paying a fortune in oil any reccomend actions. I use olive oil and sun flour or rapeseed oils thanks hate paying for the little bottles as on a budget . Thanks in advance

I mostly use it as a steamer. But it looks like you want to use this to make a porridge with milk? I’m sorry but I don’t know the answer. If/when I decide to use it to make something similar to porridge, I will let you know! If you try it sooner, let me know how it turned out! 😊
@@SophieParkChannel think I may of blew my microwave with a range mate had sparks whilst cooking my salmon for salad we will try later . If I have it will go back I haven’t had it long.

It’s been a long while since I got this one. But I do believe it came with a little booklet with a Information. I’m sure there are UA-cam videos on recipes from different people. 😀
The video would be much more useful and informative if you replace the music with simple instructions voiceover.
As it is, it's more of a sale pitch than a proper review.
