thank you for making this video. I have a 2004 hyundai santa fe and I am thinking about replacing the speakers. This is the only good video out there I appreciate it
Thanks for making and sharing your video, although my car is Hyundai IX35, I feel confident installing my speakers mself and saving my £120. Excellent, clear and concise explanations! Well Done 🙌🏾👍🏾👏🏾
Your welcome, after making this video I had a lot of request to show people how to replace the rear speakers. Here is a link if you are interested. How to replace rear speakers Hyundai Santa Fe ua-cam.com/video/0bFHMruSiVw/v-deo.html
You really made it look simple and very doable, it’s been several years since I’ve attempted to do a job like this. But I’m retired now and don’t have money to waste and really think I can do this. However, I have a 2011 Santa Fe Limited, I need to change the speaker and the window controller switch. Actually all the switches work except one, is it possible to correct the switch or em I better off changing it completely? Thanks in advance
Thank you for the feedback, it is unlikely that the switch itself can be repaired. I would recommend just replacing it. I’ve had good luck with OEM parts. Had an excellent price off of eBay.
Yes here you go, I also have a video including the TXV and condenser. How to replace AC Compressor, condenser and expansion valve Hyundai Santa Fe ua-cam.com/video/gLKzHizsU3M/v-deo.html

I believe by connecting the tweeters to their own separate wires that the stereo would provide a little better sound quality. I have tried this before and you are able to adjust the treble much more when connecting to their own wires.
I installed JBL kit Stage 600C large speakers are considered 6 1/2” speakers and the small speakers are 7/8” deep by 2 3/16”wide. I had to slightly trim the edge of the smaller speakers. This kit wasn’t super fancy but it was a huge step up from the original speakers. May I add that if your speakers currently have no sound you may want to check the wires in the rubber boot of the door jam. My speakers were not working due to bad wires within this boot but I’m still happy I upgraded.
It did. Thank you! Saves me pulling the door apart twice. Once to check the size, then again once I order the part. I couldn't find consensus online, with different places saying different sizes. Thanks!
Hello Desmond, the year make and model in the description and also at 30 seconds into the video. The range should be from 2001 to 2006. Hopefully that is helpful.
This video (and the one about replacing the rear speakers) just saved me $150 in labor for replacing my speakers.
Thank you for sharing @Tom Whitfield.
I'm looking at getting a 2003 Santa fe as my first car so having these videos gives me a lot of reassurance in case I need to replace anything
Get it bro I’m 18 with the same car as my first and it’s perfect just what you need

Thank you for the video. You gave me the confidence to change my own stereo!
Your very welcome
Thank you for the video! Definitely the most simple explanation.
Do you have a video on how to replace the factory stereo?
Thank you very much, you help me to fix the window lift, greeting from Serbia...
Thank you so much 😊, can or do you have the rear speaker 🔈 replace video?
Thanks a bunch. Very helpful.
Will this be the same for a 2005 Santa Fe? I saw another video of a guy toying with the amp, that’s a bit too far out of my comfort zone zone.
You're awesome bro, I have the same car!!! 👊
Exactly what i was looking for, thankyou.

Love your Santa Fe videos! Any idea how to remove the panel to replace the rear speakers? My chilton manual doesn’t cover it.
Thank you lots! I’ll define look into it and possibly show a video.

What's the difference between connecting the tweeters directly to the woofer vs to the existing wire?
I believe by connecting the tweeters to their own separate wires that the stereo would provide a little better sound quality. I have tried this before and you are able to adjust the treble much more when connecting to their own wires.
What tools would I need and what parts ?
You think it’s similar to a 2007 hyundai tuscon?
I would guess it would be similar.
Отличное видео, спасибо большое ❤
Great video.
Great video. What size speaker did you use as the replacement?

Did that info help?

Nice job. Thanks. Maybe try to work on the volume levels, video was really quiet?
@seewall11 thank you for the feedback, I’ve been working on the volume as suggested.
Thx for the awesome vid
For anyone wondering a Hyundai Elantra is also the same exact Stereo Set up (Very small differences)
Why you don't use filter capacitor ? Its very important to not distord the speaker
2009 santa fe front left speaker wie is green and the other is black and white which is positive
What kind of connectors are those? I redid my stereo in my 03 Santa Fe and I’m tackling the speakers next!
Male and female insulated wire connectors and also butt connectors all were 18-22 gauge
TweekerDan1984 thank you so much!!
cool thanks
Putting the year info would b nice🙄
